There is traditional southern cooking, and then there is just greasy food. This restaurant falls into the latter category.

If you are into Southern Cooking and cafeteria style this is the place you want. We thought the food was ok. The price was reasonable. My meat was cold. Not our best experience. We were recommended to go here, but probably won't return. Too many better places to eat in Hendersonville and Nashville area.

I ordered the ribs with green beans and creamy slaw. There was a cornbread patty which accompanied it, plus I ordered a dill pickle and fried okra. The green beans had some ground pork which was unique and the mayo in the slaw had to be homemade because it had a very unique taste. The cornbread patty I had never seen before and was great. Six sauces on the table was the perfect number (one for each rib of the half slab) and each was slightly unique compared to other BBQ joints I have visited.

For a chain steak place I have to admit they are pretty good, but two of my family members love it. It could be their favorite. I am not willing to say they are steak house quality and they definitely need more house made dressing, dips, and appetizers, but it is good food.

We found the Moby Dick by accident, while in Hendersonville, Tn. We were hungry and started looking for a place to eat, and, being so close to Nashville, we wanted to hear some live music. Turns out they don't have live music anymore but we didn't leave disappointed! The food was very good... fresh oysters, crab rangoon, lobster bisque, freshly made pork rinds (still popping) and a lettuce wedge. Our favorites were the oysters and the pork rinds. Reasonably priced. The service was excellent! Our server was very eager to make our experience memorable. We will return!

We went to dinner here because we were told it was good. Had a 20 minute wait to get seated no big deal. We got seated and the real wait started. Pur waiter was flirting with a young lady in a Vanderbilt sweatshirt who was there with he parents. He spent so much time sucking up to her mom and dad and flirting with her it took 23 minutes to order something to drink. We finally ordered another 17 minutes later. Our food was brought by a young red headed girl who was not our server but still brought our food. Other people were getting good service. One waitress even sang Happy Birthday (with the help of the other patrons) to a woman for her birthday. The food was, ok at best. It was passable but I have had better. We stopped the young redheaded waitress and she refilled our drinks for us. We tried to find a manager but there were not any to be found that we could lodge a complaint with. We get the Hendersonville on business from time to time but will definitely NEVER eat here again. If this dark haired casanova is your waiter, good luck!

The Greek gyro was good. The chicken and eggs I would not order again. The eggs and gravy were simple eggs and gravy. The diced potatoes were good. I was disappointed in the chicken strips, they were fried with a hard dark crust and some of the chicken meat was tough.

My wife and I were here for dinner before an Opry show, the aquarium was beautiful, thatâs where it stopped. We got fried calamari, no flavor, I got broiled captains platter and my wife grilled shrimp, nothing had flavor, everything overcooked and rubbery. The stuffed crab was just wet mush along with the stuffed shrimp with no actual seafood in stuffing. I loved seafood, I couldnât eat it, I rarely complain, but actually made me lose my appetite and feel sick.
