Great location, very quiet rural surroundings. Really enjoyed the stay, food and swimming pool. We really enjoyed time walking in the grounds, round the lake, lots of wildlife including very cute family of ducks.

My work arranged for myself and some other work colleagues to stay overnight at the Fountain as It was located not too far away from the building we was working at. It’s located in a nice area along a county road with some good views and has a spacious car park to pull up in and the buildings it’s self are great looking. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Plugs next to your beds for charging your phone. Bath and shower options. The meals were great and their is a good atmosphere in the place. Waitress and waiters do a great job. I’ve stayed here a few times recently and would recommend the place. Hopefully work will pay for me to stay again!

Wild-ish glamping and camping in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Love this campsite. This is actually our second visit. The first time we camped as a couple in the top field and this year we glamped with our little one. Strikes the perfect balance between feeling wild and yet has all the modern luxuries you could need. Because of its location in the valley and how well placed the pitches are, you can’t really see or hear your fellow campers making it feel really private and peaceful. The views are fantastic. Absolute treat to be able to have a hot shower and wash up in a sink. Lots to do in the area too if you like pubs, restaurants and walking. Will come again.

We are on the last night of our 4 night stay as a couple. What can I say absolutely beautiful so peaceful just what we needed to recharge our batteries as both full time front line workers this was a brilliant find. Booked through Hoeseasan our caravan was absolutely spotless and spacious for two people. There is no facilities on the site but we knew this before we arrived and planned for this. There are local shops nearby and can we thank a lovely young couple in the local shop who gave us directions to find the site. The views from the caravan are stunning the only noise was the birds singing in the morning then the animals awakening on the night shift if you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is for you our caravan number was 131.

We first stayed here in 2016 when it won four in a bed and it was the loveliest place we have stayed at, then we went again 2 yrs ago and the owners remembered us and made a fuss they were lovely people, out to please you & couldn’t do enough for you. My sons booked us up again for our birthdays…… well it was a very different experience this time, just the atmosphere when we 1st walked in was different!! There was a stag do breakfast on the Saturday morning so was asked if we could have breakfast early so not to interrupt with the stag do, the breakfast on the 1st morning was lovely, then the Saturday night the stag do came back and ended up with fighting which we wasn’t impressed with so went up early to our room. Then breakfast Sunday morning was totally different….. we think most of it was warmed up from the day before as the sausages were solid and the eggs were like rubber. We won’t be going back there now . The staff were ok .

Exceeded all expectations . The rooms were very well decorated and comfortable. Bathrooms modern and clean . And the breakfast was outstanding. To top it off it was nice to have a farewell fuss from the owners dog.. would definitely stay again.
