This restaurant was truly delightful. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The food is fantastic, elegantly served and wonderfully flavourful. We enjoyed a table at the window overlooking a quiet flowing river. This is truly a hidden gem! Don't pass it by!

Amazing fine food in a wonderful environment, with nice Terrace. Quality for us, is the most important thing. More than 250 wines on the wine list.
Meal, experience, staff, ... all very good. The restaurant looks very nice too. Food is delicious. The chef himself also comes to great the guests & is open for a chat - which always is nice & makes you feel important. Staff very friendly, young but efficient & nice.

On my second visit, I chose the menu surprise of the evening. What a treat. 4 small plates of fish, meat and dessert courses. Flavours just amazing.
A must try is the house cocktail of white port and lemon topped off with tonic.
Service was immaculate and overall experience was excellent.

Hidden away opposite the police station, good food & wine choice (by the glass as well). Parking not brilliant but OK in winter weekday!

Nice place, nice Terrace, the food is average to good, but no matter who serves us there, there is always at least one waiter not really being friendly or helpful. That's really a problem. Still I give them a good score as that's not the only thing that matters. But they should look into that at it seems to be consistent.

Sinds chef-kok Ritchie De Clercq, gastvrouw Lina Vanhese en gastheer Rony dit restaurant twee jaar geleden nieuw leven inbliezen, vinden steeds meer fijnproevers de weg naar dit uniek eetadres. Portobelfino verwijst naar een kwaliteitschocolademerk. Vaak gaat het om subtiele accenten zoals gerechten die op een creatieve manier in cacaoboter gebakken worden. In de keuken wordt de lat almaar hoger gelegd en dat vertaalt zich in hoogstaande culinaire gerechten, suggesties en menu's. Een van de specialiteiten is de 'Bouillabaisse':gemaakt met o.A. Langoustines en king krab. De vis is vooraf gegrild wat voor een bijzondere smaak zorgt. Ook het supermalse en smaakvolle Australisch vlees van met graan gevoederde runderen is een ontdekking waard. En heeft u iets te vieren, dan staat een feestzaal klaar (tot 30 personen). Een prima excuus om een volgend bezoek niet te lang uit te stellen.

Took the dried aged italian meat. Very good. The french fries had a special taste. Didnt particularly enjoy it but they said they are cooking in a fine pork grease, very expensive

François is for me the reference in the way you enjoy ice cream.
Not only is the ice cream excellent, but the choices you are offered guaranteed discovery and adventure for many enjoyable hours.
The location is beautiful, the service excellent and the price more than fair!

Vriendelijke ontvangst door de gastvrouw, doch onze tafel was nog niet klaar. We hadden nochtans gereserveerd. tafeltjes staan dicht op mekaar in dit heringericht woonhuis. De open keuken gaf wel een frituurgeur voor de ganse avond verder. Misschien investeren in een beter/zwaardere afzuigkap? De inrichting is een allegaartje van alles. Geen goede verlichting. De kaart bracht wel een glimlach op ons gezicht en we hebben lekker gegeten. Minpunt: slaatje was niet voorgesneden (niet gemakkelijk te snijden als er n aantal blaadjes sla in een miniem potje is geprest). Nog werk aan de winkel!

This restaurant gave us a luxurious feeling without being overwhelmed. We still felt 'at home'. The service was excellent. The staff was all female, all dressed in the same cute uniform. They did a fantastic job. The food itself was very good. The only negative about the place is that the menu was imposed. There was no choice at all. As a main course there was a pigeon, something that I don't like but there was no alternative. Only for the desert there was the choice between a sweet desert and cheese. I don't mind menus but they should at least give you the choice between two dishes for the main course. Apart from this, we had two times fish as a starter and it was al delicious. Also the desert was very creative and tast was lovely. All dishes were light, not heavy. We could easily eat all but this was good news as we still had a little place for the sweets that came with the coffee. Also these were great.
Next to the coffee, they serve some 'special teas'. We tried their 'mojito tea', based on green tea, fresh mint and honey, it was fantastic.
