Split a special salad, double pork chop, and a fudge and butterscotch Sunday. Had a great waiter, Justin. We brought a local wine we picked up wine tasting, but opted to purchase J. Dusi Zin, another of our local favorites and skip the (totally reasonable $25) corkage.
Restaurant 10 minutes from Paso Robles in Templeton.

Templeton Donuts is a very small family owned donut shop with a big taste and even bigger and friendlier service. They have a large selection of donuts as well as scones and muffins. Stop there for lunch too !!!!! Great sandwichs and salads.

Nestled next to Trader Joe's just off the Vineyard exit. Great light and comfortable decor; lovely service and presentation; and WONDERFUL coffee. And the coffee can all be made with nutmilks for vegans :)
Off the beaten path, but well worth it, take the Vineyard exit off the freeway to Templeton and arrive. No vegan pastries yet, but I'm sure in time there will be. ENJOY!

We had an amazing dinner starting pasta with wild boar ragu. We continued on with veal chop topped with Porcini mushrooms and filet of beef. Both outstanding. This restaurant is expensive but the food was very good. Don’t miss an opportunity to dine here while visiting Paso Robles and be sure to make a restaurant. Enjoy!

We ate lunch here twice. The fish tacos were amazing....the fish was so fresh!!! I usually prefer the grilled fish, but this time enjoyed the fried....more flavor. The next day we had the shrimp louie which was heaped with fresh tiny shrimp. The person who took the order was friendly, patient, and accommodating. It's always popular!!! Very convenient off the 101.

Paso Terra is a high end Seafood restaurant, serving seafood from all around the world. While Chef Andre is a classically trained chef in France, his cuisine spans the globe. Our seafood is always fresh daily, organic and sustainable. We only serve wild caught fish.
This is an intimate dining experience, don't expect piles of french fries, but this is french cuisine at it's finest. I have various food allergies and they were very accommodating. I had the butterfish with a citrus vinaigrette and my husband had steak with a red wine sauce. They were both delicious. Many desserts were gluten-free too. It's not cheap, but well worth it for a special occasion.

Lunch or brunch on the big porch of this old Parsonage is a treat. I love the exotic ice tea and the raspberry lemonade. The menu is varied but has lots of fun ingredients, like quinoa, artichoke and pecans. Many dishes are Mediterranean inspired, and all are delicious. Try to save room for the gluten free lavender cake, which tastes like a mortal sin!

Nino's Grill was created when Steve Nino saw the need in Templeton, not only for great food, but for a place that families, sports fans, and sports teams could come to have a great time. Live music every Friday and Saturday. Thanks to "Old Hickory Pits" are meats all get an extra flavor beyond the standard BBQ. We chose this particular smoker after much research guaranteeing a unique flavor no one can beat. We take the extra care and time to ensure our Tri-Tip, Baby Back Ribs, Chicken, Pullled Pork, and Brisquit come out full of flavor and never dry. Besides our smoked meats we have Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Burgers, and T-Dogs. We offer all this in fabulous sandwiches, salads, and dinner plate choices. Our dressings and sauces are made from scratch after many trials to bring forth perfect flavoring. We pride ourselves in offering a variety of menu items for every taste bud with no confusion or ingredients you've never heard off. Our philosophy is that simple good food allows a comfort for our customers.
We had a nice lunch for sure - sitting on the patio was quite nice - The heat from last week was gone and the patio was delightful.
We came in at 11:30 to beat any lunch crowd. Well the server was on it for sure, but with a very empty restaurant the kitchen is not. two out of three attempts at Ninos and the kitchen is slow.
The buffalo chicken had nice spices and the patty melt was pretty good.
all in all good, and will probably get better with time as they tune the place up.

Driving through Templeton on our way to Morro Bay and saw this on the roadside. Pulled over and had a really great local heart breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly, coffee refills were offered frequently and the spinach and cheese omelette and raise bread were great and the Ham Steak with eggs was awesome!
