Herzliya (/hɜːrtsəˈliːjə/; Hebrew: הֶרְצֵלִיָּה [hɛʁtsɛliˈja]; Arabic: هرتسيليا [hɪrtsiːlja]) is an affluent city in the central coast of Israel, at the Northern part of the Tel Aviv District known for its robust start-up and entrepreneurial culture. In 2016 it had a population of 93,116. Named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, Herzliya covers an area of 21.6 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi). At its western municipal boundaries is Herzliya Pituah, one of Israel's most affluent neighborhoods and home to numerous Embassies, as well as prominent Israeli business people.

Arrived here late in the evening for food and drink.Great welcome! The serving staff were outstanding in their friendliness. A shout out to Adi, my server... great work.Beer... it was good, it was strong. NiceFood... I had the kebabs... very tasty, good size, not too large. I might have chosen differently, except that the menu doesnât stray far from burgers, pizzas, salads and sandwichs.Location... beachside... excellent. This is a restaurant more than a Hamburger joint and much like a steakhouse. The setting is very pleasant, though marred by music that is far too loud. Service is friendly and prompt. The quality of the food varies from mediocre to very good. For a first course we enjoyed onion soup and Moroccan cigars. As main course we found the grilled chicken breast quite good and the crispy chicken totally uninteresting. The price is right.

I really enjoyed my meal at meat and wine. The staff was welcoming and generous. The food was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. I would recommend getting the steak with their house sauce. My only request was that they open up in NYC!

We wern't aware of this restaurant until I looked for an Argentinian restaurant in Tel Aviv. Nothing worth while in Tel Aviv, so we tried this - It was surprisingly great. The various meats were very very good, and I'm sure i will return. The place is nice and the service was excellent. My rating isn't excellent due to 2 reasons - the Tabel we were seated was in the corner near the window, not very comfortable and spacy and cold. The other reason was the coffee at the end of the meal was "burnt" and not tasty. The waiter offered compensation and was very kind.

I was at bistro 56 for a business lunch, the food was ok, nothing outstanding, but the service was embarrassing. At the end of the meal we ordered the dessert, we left before it came, it took more than 15 min.

Ate here with my husband and had a lovely evening.The waitress we had was American I think and was just lovely and so chatty.The food was nicely presented and enjoyed our meal.The service is excellent.Good menu with a wide choice and the food is kosher.I would visit again
