Wow! I love this bakery. I lived half a block away from the Nakapan. It's located just across the circle from Tateyama Station in Chiba Japan. The Bakery is over 100 years old and is wonderfully inviting and the smell of it in the morning is still lodged in my memory. They make the best Cinnamon sugar doughnut ever! Also if you are there early you can get a fried squid Sandwich, in one word "Amazing" Around the corner are some stairs and they lead up to the restaurant. I found that everything was so good! The ladies don't speak much English, but they are great at charades, and Cheerful and excited to help you!
For an American far from home, try the apple pie! It's the best ever.

お店の場所は館山駅前からは少し離れており、布良港近くの安房神社入口近くに店舗がありお店の並びに4台ほど停められる駐車スペースがあるので車での来店もOK!
特にお勧めのメニューは、刺身定食とさんが焼きとアジフライで兎に角鮮度が良く魚の旨味を最大限に引き出しています。
今回食べた刺身定食上の内容は、鯵・カツオ・カンパチ・イナダ・ネギトロの5種類の刺身とご飯、味噌汁の内容。
さんが焼きとは、新鮮な鰺を三枚に卸して叩き、味噌を敢えて大葉を巻いて焼く南房総の名物料理!
「あさみ」のさんが焼きやアジフライは、刺身に使う鯵を惜しみなく使用するので普通のさんが焼きやアジフライとは全然違い他店のさんが焼きやアジフライとは物が違います。
館山という場所柄を考えると決して価格は安くはないですが(実際食べると凄く安く感じる)出てくる料理の内容を吟味するとお値段以上の満足度を得れるお店です。

I had the "Aburi Kaisen Don" (broiled seafood bowl) which features different types of seafood - some raw, some cooked and some which you'll have to grill (DIY). Never had so much food in my life for only 1500 yen! Overall, quality and freshness was excellent and this set is really value for money but do note that it is limited to only 25 customers a day. If you don't manage to order this set, you'll have to settle with other items on their menu which I'm sure should be good too.

The place usually clowded over the weekends majority with tourists and had a chance passing by during one weekday so that stopped for a lunch.
Ordered "Kaisen-don (Assorted raw seafood bowl)" which told by a store lady one that popular menu should try.
Price was ¥1000 (A bowl with Miso soup) which was common price range for Kaisendon.
Waited approx 5min to serve which was fair time frame I believe.
The bowl comes with quite volume of Sashimi (raw seafood) that I was kinda excited till had first bite of rice. The rice was ice cold & rock hard! My curiosity began and started checking around the store then I spotted to a fridge and found out a reason. Bunch of bowls with rice piled up aside of beer bottles.... Keeping the rice with same temp of ice cold beer !? I questioned to the lady why they kept in such and said ”serving efficiency purpose"... Then the result serving rock hard rice ? I wasn't enjoyed the way how they served or the meal was not worth what I paid and I won't be back again.

なかなかのお値段のうな重ですが、どこも値上がりしていますので
逆にこちらは安い位かも知れません。うなぎ自体なかなkボリュームあります。

館山の駅より車で10分くらいのところにあります。夕食をカウンターで食べました。新鮮な魚介を食べきれないほどのボリュームで提供されていました。お部屋は和室で海を眺められました。温泉も小さいですがあります。朝食もボリューム満点でした。大きいホテルではないためのんびりくつろげる宿です。

Went for Sunday nite dinner.
Surprisingly good selection of toro (fatty tuna) otoro and chutoro. Two pieces of otoro for 500 jpy. Chawamushi (hot egg custard ) had salmon roe and uni (sea urchin) on top. For kaiten sushi very good quality for reasonable price. Still good selection even after a super busy Sunday.
