Off Australia’s South Coast you’ll find the rugged and beautiful island of
Tasmania — a unique destination where you can see Tasmanian devils, walk
in the wilderness, take in stunning eco-cruises, taste artisanal cheeses and
even explore a controversial art museum. The best way to see it? Take the
back roads, but allow plenty of time: A short drive in any direction can lead to
wineries, distilleries, marine farms, convict settlements, pristine beaches,
fields of lavender and national parks…

Gather around Refresh and Reconnect This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The Barn at Eden Farm on the outskirts of Cygnet has been renovated to create a fantastic place from which to explore the Huon Valley and beyond. Spacious 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms lets you bring the whole family along to create long lasting memories of time spend together. Roaming through the orchard, roasting marshmallows, feeding the Highland cattle, goats, sheep and alpacas. Only 45 minutes away from Hobart.
Had a lovely 2 nights in Eden Cottage. The weather wasn't the best, but we're still able to enjoy feeding the animals and explore the farm. The cottage is clean with basics provided including eggs, milk, bread, butter, muesli, jam, tea and coffee. The heating and lights were on when we arrived which was welcoming. Eden would suit a small family. We had a lovely day trip to Tahune Airwalk and first Sunday of the month to Cygnet markets. DVD collection, books and new toys was good for the evening. Would stay again

Elandil B&B Queen Studio Apartment is an idyllic country retreat for peace and tranquility. Wonderful bird life and wild life abounds from Pademelons to Platypus. Cosy and comfortable, Elandil is situated in the heart of the beautiful Huon Valley 45 minutes south of Hobart.
There are many 5 star reviews for this property. I agree with all their words. Great hosts, great breakfast, good advice. Great forest walk, good location for those that want beautiful surroundings only 40 mins from city centre. Will definately recommend to our friends.

What a beautiful place, a stunning location and a wonderfully renovated old farm house. We stayed here on the run up to our wedding, and we had all our family and friends staying also, creating gorgeous memories. One of the owners (the husband), came over on the first day with a lovely gift of wine to welcome us and ensure we were settled in. All in all a magical experience...then we met the owners wife. Wow...what a nutter, she is the answer to the question “who is the nearest thing to Basil Fawlty you have met?” Some people should not be in hospitality, as a host she makes a good prison guard in Abu Grabe. My advice to this couple? Dude...lock your wife up and don’t let her near any guests.

We booked 3 nights (A$375) trusting their website which showed a picturesque, restful place. However, when we arrived, it was not so. The self-contained cottage was extremely small, dirty without any cupboards or clothes hangers nor any space for luggages. The owner, Jan told us to use the baby cot for our bags and to hang our clothes. The bedsheets was not fresh. No washing machine although her website indicated "laundry facilities". When asked, she wanted to charge A$10 per use. The kitchen is extremely small (standing space for 1) and not fully equipped. No grilling oven, only a portable cooker for frying. The toilet is very tight - small shower, one WC in a tight space and a sink. Surfaces of the tables, fireplace, window sills were terribly dusty and dirty. We even found dead insects on the table of brochures! Based on their website, we had expected to face fields and a lake, but instead our front door opened to face a bush!. We decided to clean the place and make the best of it. But after the 2nd night, we could not carry-on. We gently approached Jan and spoke about our unhappiness over this. We asked for a refund of the 3rd night, given the false publicity on her website but she responded aggressively. We then decided to forfeit the 3rd night's cost and moved out. Having had travelling experiences throughout my professional life and for vacations, Bosmara Haven is clearly the worst place I had experienced. Take a look at our pictures. Please do not be tricked as we had been.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Homestead and found this to be the most beautiful accommodation. Surrounded by the farm and animals, the tastefully renovated cottage is just like home, with extra luxuries. We’d highly recommend this place.
