Weâve built a finely-tuned modern bar and restaurant from the ground up, with every brick and layer of mortar meticulously placed by hand. Our menu is full of exceptional classic dishes, with a few unique creations thrown in to keep things interesting. Ou
This restaurant may not score highly on the romance scale, but it is lots of fun, and serves great, generous pizzas with excellent toppings. You order at the bar, and the staff are efficient. The wine list is not great, but adequate. I made sure to book the booths, because I hate those bar stools and horrible old office chairs they provide. We seniors appreciate comfort.

Absolutely loved the food at Amici. When we walked in, the wonderful aroma of Italian cooking was mouth watering. My only complaint and it is a minor complaint, was the waiter who looked after us. He asked us for our order only minutes after we were seated, not having opened the menu and when I went to the toilet while the others at out table were still eating, my plate and cutlery were whisked away even though I was going g to have some salad when I got back. He also was. Dry quick to take the plates away when the others had finished. One suggestion I would like to make is that perhaps instead of a full dessert, the option of having a biscuit which is smaller might appeal to some. A minor suggestion and this is not a complaint. Highly recommend Amici...as said food was fantastic.

Came here on a Sunday night when the choice if restaurants that are open is limited. Booked a table which was good as the place was busy. Friendly staff took our order and we relaxed. The food came quickly and looked and tasted amazing. My partner had the lasagne whilst I ordered 3 starters - so glad I did as the variety and size were great! Definitely recommend this place

We (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 & 13) had dinner here after walking the Three Capes Track - booked after reading favourable reviews here.Paesano is a lovely little restaurant with a very nice dining area upstairs (above the entrance & pizza ovens). We were all extremely happy with meals - two pizzas which were bursting with flavour, and two excellent pasta dishes - a bolognaise and a marinara. Pastas were particularly impressive for being simple, but perfect sauces - clearly cooked confidently and with an eye for perfection. Very good value for money.Met the owner (who also helps serve) on the way out - extremely friendly and very proud of his restaurant. We were very impressed with the food and waitstaff, and will definitely be back. Hint: probably worth booking, even on a cold Thursday night in mid-winter Paesano was full when we left.

Real Food, Real Music At the Duke we love to share the best of Tasmania. So we source our food locally, our artwork is local, as are our musicians, and our extensive collection of Tassie Gins and Whiskys. Live music every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and
The food was really bad. The food was overpriced - you are paying upscale restaurant prices for pub food. The bartender was nice but some woman or manager was just rude and didnât seem to have service industry background. Not friendly. Very busy on wed trivia nights. The most brightly lit blues bar Iâve ever seen. Seems to get good reviews but I donât understand why - maybe because it has no competition and is trying to be everything at once? The music is good. I recommend donât go - but if you do go for the music/trivia night but not for the food and not for the service . Awful
Artisan Pizza & Small Plates Restaurant. Finest Flavours, Fresh Dough, Hand Stretched, Daily. We Offer Great Table Service Or Takeaway And We Delivery Our Scrumptious Food With Alcohol
With its decorevoking the London Underground and menus designed like metro maps, this new eatery makes a good variety of pizzas and bar 'snacks'. We had a traditional cappriciosa which was delicious. The crust is not too thick but the toppings are generous. There's a good variety of wines - by the glass and by the bottle - and beers with some on tap including a great local (very local....just up the road). Seating is comfortable and ranges from bar stools to 'lounges' with dining tables and coffee tables. There's also a beer garden'. There's a nice vibe, even on a Tuesday night. Pizzas can be ordered online and by phone. A great addition to the crawl up Elizabeth Street.

We have been here many times and also often have takeaway. We took family here who were visiting from sydney, they were very impressed with the duck and the chestnut gnocchi were sensational. Dessert equally delicious, consistently great. Wonderful boys assisting diners, they are top notch.

Solo Pasta was chosen on basis of Tripadvisor ratings for a dinner for ten and most of us were disappointed; food was well cooked but something seemed missing, a little bland, not reflecting the TA rating; perhpas chefs off day?Two poms with us thought the food was excellent, "best Italian ever", and other superlatives. Then one said it was great to have "foreign food without too much garlic".He nailed it. The food was consistently underspiced - low on garlic, oregano, etc - but obviously a lot of people like it that way. Not me! What is Italian cuisine with minimal garlic and spicing?Service was efficient and very friendly, wine list is good and at good prices.

No wonder this is such a popular restaurant. It was recommended to us and we are so glad we booked in advance. It was buzzing proving food for take away and in-house dining in the back restaurant. Its well appointed, comfortable with an Italian vibe. The waiting staff were particularly friendly and efficient. The menu catered for our Italian favourites so the choice was difficult. We decided to go with pizza and asked for a 'thin' crust which they were able to accomodate. ..as we saw other pizzas being served that were quite thick. It was great. We would definitely go back next time we visit Hobart and will be sure to book ahead.
