First off we were sat right by the double automatic doors with the loudest auto bloody buzzer you have ever heard made conversation impossible when 30 people came in off coach and would stand with the doors open letting freezing cold air in and a constant doo doo going off but i digress. .food ok i had the wonton soup average with prebrought wontons followed by the satay skewers nice sauce but very lack luster processed chicken prawn crackers also had no flavour partner had seafood combo po mein he said it was brilliant great flavour and seafood was frozen but tasty. Hood luck with this venture guys but pay attention to customer comfort and warmth ps your service was very pleasant and fast.

We got into Hobart early and spent the day shopping. Exhausted we crashed at the motel and I raced up to the shops at Moonah for bread and bananas. Passed this restaurant on the way and noticed people going in and out ordering takeaway. Popped in on the way back to motel and ordered some takeaway. The restaurant is a big open plan room with wooden table and chairs with lots of elbow room. They have some red lanterns hanging overhead but mostly simple decor. Lovely young girl who was friendly and patient suggesting dishes as I dithered. If we werent so tired I would have like to stay. Ordered spring rolls, small fried rice and cashew chicken. Raced back to motel room and ejoyed the meal. Bought some rice noodles, fresh vegies to have with leftovers next day.

Maybe because itâs head and shoulders above so many eateries that call themselves ârestaurantsâ.Constantly disappointed in the Hobart food scene but never here. As other commentators have said: 5/5 for service, food and ambience.I could add location, with the ability to park in Magnet Court and walk under cover from your car.

Bought takeaway and was very impressed. Delicious satay combination, but only one prawn was a bit tight! The sweet and sour chicken is delicious. Not the traditional battered balls, but two yummy, tender whole breasts in a light batter, thinly sliced. Fried rice tasty, but not much in it sorry from rice and a small amount of ham and a few peas. The sesame prawns weren't what I expected, probably wouldn't bother with them again. Overall, will go back.

We were taken by friends to this restaurant, that they highly recommended. Service was very good, decor typical Chinese, but linen tablecloths. Tables very close together, once in can't get out. Staff attentive. Drinks quite good selection. It was discovered as meals came out that there was a different chef there. Perhaps this explained the huge size of both the meals on the plates and the size of individual items on plate. Sweet and sour pork pieces were so big they had to be cut with knife. Same for chicken. The chicken chow mein had heaps sof chicken but little in the way of vegetables, especially no greens. Very disappointed. The fried rice was delicious. All four diners at my table left almost one third of every dish as they were just so large.- Taking the meals home was offered, but would rather have had a little less on the plate and a smaller cost. -Wouldn't go again under the same circumstances.
Delicious, healthy food with great flavours. The service was excellent, prices good, lovely atmosphere and I especially liked that our leftovers were put into eco friendly containers to take home rather than plastic. Lovely little place for a meal

Dropped in here for an evening meal and was very surprised at the quality of food and great service. been to quite a few Chinese in Hobart and don't know how this one has slipped through the cracks. will recommend it to friends.
From Dim Sum to Mapo Tofu, the popularity of Chinese food in Hobart far surpassed localâs expectations. But what about Xiao Long Bao or the soup dumpling? The dish that is synonymous with the city of Shanghai, where a perfect intertwining of traditional a
Had the sliced fish with Sichuan pickled noodle soup. It was okay at the beginning but eventually found it was quite salty. Fish slices were fresh. Customer service was not great. I had to get my own chopsticks and spoon and napkin. Food was slow.
