Was not very keen on this bistro and the menu was nothing special. Ordered hamburger with chips.Order delivered to table was the size of a high tower with a long toothpick stab in the middle to stop it leaning over like the tower of Pisa. The meat patty was thick as a car tyre and very unappetizing.Upon picking up, my hamburger fell apart on my plate and had to eat the deconstructed hamburger with knife, fork and fingers. I could not swallow the entire hamburger and chips and was very disappointed that the price exceeded the expectation of the meal.I am certain that I will not be returning to this establishment again !!!!!!!!

Visited here on a number of occasions. Food is quite good and very generous portions. Usually too much for us to eat. Friday night is our usual visit. Thursday has specials and you need to book ahead. Good peking and beverage pricing is typical of a pub.

The Prince of Wales is obviously a well run local Pub serving superior food. I would love to call their food "Gastro" but maybe the menu isn't quite gastro while the meals we were served were well cooked and massive. My Lamb Shank was very tender and it was served on plenty of mash potato and nice gravy. Top value at $24. My wife's Trio of Seafood consisted of loads of Prawns, Salt & Pepper Squid and Blue Grenadier Fish. The trio was served with Chips and a Salad. Our meals were washed down with a de Bartoli Chardonnay at $18. Service was friendly and spot on. Highly recommended.

I have been through this area a couple of times in the last 3 months and I have found it quite interesting to sit and have a beer before departing. I have found the staff to be very friendly and the service very good. My 2nd visit was a shock as the beer price had gone up. I had previously paid $11 for a pint and this time $13.50 for a pint of mid strength! Will seriously not be drinking here again! The airport must be raking in a lot of rent!Hi David, We are glad that you have enjoyed your visits- however disappointed that you're unhappy with our prices. Unfortunately we try and make all costs fair & reasonable against an Airport environment, and do our best to satisfy the highest standards of quality service & produce. Hopefully we can have you back for a beer another time.
