Once you step inside this place has a very different feel to it. Our young waitress was so friendly and warm, food beautiful but we couldn't bring ourselves to eat the signature dish which was wallaby as they were nibbling on the grass outside our window, silly I know but we stick with the steak and fish of the day. Great wine selection. Would dine here again.

4 of us were lucky enough to have a wonderful evening last week at the "Boomer". After a recommendation we pre booked a table and an order of crayfish. When we arrived both Michael and Tiffany were wonderful hosts with lots of good King Island stories. Our food was absolutely delicious and the view with the setting sun was breath taking . The crayfish was outstanding served natural and a couple of us had the most magnificent steak cooked to perfection. My husband and I are great steak lovers and we both said it was one of the best steaks we had ever had. Thank you Cheryl and the staff in the kitchen. Overall a wonderful evening.
Airport cafe open 7 days-with live fish tank selling local lobsters, oysters and abalone. We also sell King Island cheese and beef, which can all be prepacked and ready for your flight home. Cafe style food, sandwiches, sweet and savoury pastries during t
Whether you're arriving or leaving or as many King Island locals do, it's the meeting spot for great coffee and Saturday morning breakfasts. Other days you can grab "on the fly" food but Saturday's serve up as good as you get in Melbourne, with panache and great flavours. Offer more than just the standard breakfast offerings. Superb spot to eat and meet especially if someone is flying in or out. Coffee brilliant.
