Anna Edasi is a small family-run cafe in the Karlova district of Tartu. It is named after the great-grandmother of the lady in charge. The cafe offers simple food and a wide range of bakery and confectionery items. The cafe was named Tartu's most child-fr
Really good prices and lots of things to choose from. Had a rye-blueberry cake and it was so good! Not too sweet and exactly what I needed. Everything else looked also really good and with very reasonable prices. They also serve soups, omlettes and many other small meals, also coffee and tea. The place has a cool Soviet interior but is small and cozy. Only wished that the lady behind the counter could've been a bit more friendlier but she was still very helpful.
We came for the morning cup of coffee and I couldnât stop myself from buying one of those good looking sweets they had. My desert was as great as it looked and employees were smiling and very welcoming. Although, in my opinion coffee could have been better, overall this place was worth to visit.Dear, Irina!Thank you for such a nice review. You are always welcome back. With best wishesMargus GMP Patisserie

Steady decline but the prices steadily rise. The burger was completely raw inside, more like a beef tartar than a burger. Pretty sure they had just put the burger on the grill for a minute on each side so it looked cooked on the outside but had not cooked on the inside at all. The Italian style fish and chips made no sense whatsoever - the fish is oven baked with butter, cheese and olives, there is a bun and chips with sauce. Really suggest changing the name of the dish, really do not get what one would expect of fish and chips whatsoever - the indication should have been Italian style fish and chips....Anyway, I get the fish with the bread bun idea there but the chips were completely out of place. When we showed the waitress that the burger was as raw as ever, she was just like "Oh, I'll tell the kitchen that the burger is a tartar" no I'm sorry, no discount on the burger, no offer of free coffee - the attitude was more like "oh yeah, sorry you showed me the raw burger, but we really don't care here whether you will ever come back or not". Cakes are good though but do not order the Irish coffee - half of the "coffee" is whipped cream... Time to close the shop guys, the chain is not working out for you anymore.
Well signposted, it's worth stopping here for lunch when travelling south through Estonia.Their Solyanka soup is famous! The restaurant is modern, and the TV/music plays fairly loudly. But the atmosphere is good, and there's an interesting selection of dishes, all of which are presented well. My group tried the chicken steak, the salmon pasta, the chicken salad and the burger. (The burger took much longer to arrive, for some reason).Prices came to around 10 euros per person including a drink.

The second floor of the Kvartal Centre is home to V Café, a cosy and romantic Parisian café. Its delicious dishes are prepared in chef Mihkel Manglusâ kitchen just as carefully as in the top restaurant Joyce. The café is adapted to the fast pace of urban
V looks as a the piece sign, but here it probably stands for the word very.. (no, i know it really is for âveeâ, Estonian for water). Either way, it describes what to expect here from a cocoa drink or coffee - very watery. There are other things âveryâ here, like very salty salads and breadspread or very long time for preparing food. Not all negative though. From our group of 10, those ordering pasta appeared satisfied. Also, dishes are nicely decorated and service is polite and pleasant. Room also looks nice.Hello!Thank You very much for leaving this honest review, it means a lot to us! We are glad to hear that You were satisfied with our service and atmosphere, although we are truly sorry to hear that You had to wait for Your food that long. Usually, our kitchen staff is quite fast but sometimes it tends to get busy and unfortunately some foods take more time. We are also sorry to hear that You found our drinks to be watery, we can assure You that we use quality blends for our coffee and our staff has completed courses on coffee brewing. We hope that even though You were not fully satisfied this time, that You will give us another chance to show You what we can really offer! We are looking forward to Your next visit!Kind regardsV Café team

Great weather on August 22th(=not low season yet), so we decided to have lunch here. Nice terrace overlooking Old Town's Square with cold drinks, so everything felt ok first. But unfortunately 4 of us ordered 3 different meals from their printed menu and they were out of every one of those! So then we took those drinks only and waiter didn't even apologize

We had wonderful lunch in Crepp. The salat was exquisite and service was the best I have ever had with bigger group. The waiter was just great! We left with big smiles on our faces!

Chocolaterie de Pierre was established with great care and love for everyone who appreciates sweets! Pierre is a real café in the truest sense of the word where you can hear the clinking of coffee cups and the pleasant hum of conversation, and also enjoy
Sort of funky decor with the most appealing being the last room you encounter which is white tablecloth and more intimate than the other options. Service is prompt and friendly but can slow down dramatically when a larger table has a course delivered. The food, when it comes, is pretty good and portions are large. So, if you are hungry, youâll do better here than some of the âgourmetâ options which provide designer appearance and just a nibble of food.

Krempel is a cafe. However, not an ordinary one; it's the kind of a place where people meet each other. And once they meet, they become friends. In order to make this happen, we have added a few gimmicks to Krempel; what exactly, is not important right no
They have a great breakfast menu served throughout the day with vegan options available. The coffee is tasty and as big as they come. Pancakes are definitely worth trying! The meals will take some time to arrive though, so if you're looking for a quick meal, this is not the best choice.

Werner Café & Lounge has been operating as a café since 1895. It is a great place to start the day with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. You are welcome to try all of our bakery and confectionery items, either here at the café or buying them to take a
Quite hard to find but impossible to forget. Nice surrounding. Than you have to sea the assortment of pasteries. For a moment you think you are in a museum looking at the beatiful art. After you spent time thinking which beatiful piece of art you are going to buy you finally taste it and you understand how angels feel in heaven. Lavender creme brulee was on the top!Thank you!
