The Panoramic restaurant " La Table de MAMY NOUNOU " its Terrace and lounge welcomes you in a personnalised setting. Beneath the carbet, the windy and panoramic Terrace of La Table De MAMY NOUNOU welcomes you in front of the ocean for a luncheon. In the evening take an aperitif in the personnalised setting of La Table De MAMY NOUNOU 's lounge before your meal
The owner is a dedicated professional who works the floor, supported by a great chef who is no less than his...father! What a team! The restaurant is part of a hotel, build on a high hill, with a beautiful ocean view. Great setting, with a constant light breeze. Interesting wine list, while the menu plays with local specialities, like Colombo and boudin, but extends to grilled prawns, roasted dorade and mahi mahi. Don't forget to order the soufflé in advance, it's a riot. A gem of a place, I could have gone there every day, but we ran out of time...

At the west end of Anse l'Etang beach
We ate in this reastaurant the first evening of our stay in Tartane. The location is to die for right on the beach. The food was good and the service unobtrusive and casual. I very much enjoyed the meal but was bothered by the mosquitos as all the Seating is in the open air. As a result I was hurrying to finish so that I could get back indoors.

A real surprise, it isn’t much from the outside, but has great sea views. Our starters were great and large, and the mains were excellent dorado. And chocolate flan with ice cream for dessert. All fresh and local. Likely will be our best meal in Martinique. A Must Visit if you’re seeing the Caravelle peninsula.

This small snack facing the beach is ideal for a quick delicious local lunch. It is not the fanciest but definitely a typical little beach side restaurant in Martinique!
The simple set menus ( accras + a choice of 4 mains with sides of rice, red beans and bananas + fresh fruit or ice cream for dessert) are all below 20€ and guarantee an efficient service as well as fresh mains!!
The accras came just a couple minutes after ordering and the mains were delicious: we had Chatrou (octopus) which was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasonned as well as the Gambas which were really good (although a bit messy to eat!).
The sides were simply delicous, especially the red beans!
We were so glad to have stopped there on a whim!

This was a solo night out and I walked from my hotel. The service was outstanding. The food was very good although I ordered beef and got a pork chop. No issues really. The portion was huge. They sell French wine in half bottles and that made me happy. All in all a great solo outing

We arrived on a week night and were immediately seated. The restaurant was about half full and the Waitstaff seemed to have things well under control. The food was delivered as ordered, hot food hot, cold food cold, the service was very prompt and professional. The entrance is deceiving and you think this is a little hole in the wall when actually, it is a beautiful, well cared for facility that seats about 150! Don't miss this place!!

For less than 20 Euros we had two chicken dinners with lots of "Frites", bread and two drinks.
I had "Colombo de Poulet" which was more of a mild curry flavor than I expected in the Caribbean. The service here was polite and friendly and so were the other patrons.
Chez Suzy is just off the main road as you come into town so it may easy to miss at first. For an affordable meal and the chance to maybe dine with a few locals, I think Chez Suzy is worth a try.

We loved this restaurant. It was probably our favorite dining experience in Martinique. Located right on the main street across from the beach in Tartane, the restaurant features outdoor tables with umbrellas, an indoor/outdoor feeling dining space under a roof with a water feature running across the floor and an indoor area that looks like a cave (or so my daughter reported). The staff is lovely and speaks some English, so even if you don't speak French, I think you can manage. Dinner options are presented on a board and available either as a complete three course meal for about 33 euros give or take, or a main course alone for about 10 euros less. My daughter chose a entrecote with pepper sauce with green beans and had more than enough food, which she pronounced very tasty. I chose a three course menu with the ubiquitous acras as appetizer which were delicious here. My fricassee of lambis was also delicious and unusual. We chose fresh fruit for dessert and split it, but they also had coconut flan as an option for the menu. The service was wonderful, pleasant and efficient. We were there on a Friday night, and they had live jazz that started around 9:00 pm. Overall good value for Martinique and enjoyable evening. I would definitely try it again.

We just happened on this place while wondering around the island. Everything was exactly as expected. Typical slower service as is in most of the island with traditional offerings. Nothing special here, but I wasn't looking for anything special either.

We liked the place right away, it was more charming than annoying that our waitress was a bit absent-minded. A relaxed restaurant for relaxed people. Local food at very reasonable pricing, plain and simple.
