It was our first time in the south of France for our honeymoon, my spouse and I had a relaxing and incredible time staying at La Villa de Mazamet. The owners/hosts, Geoffrey and Janice, were both warm and welcoming, and the rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. Every morning we were greeted with a lovely spread of pastries and it was truly relaxing just to hang around the villa in the various lounges and reading nooks. Garden is well kept and Geoffrey and Janice are always providing great recommendations on activities and for dining. Amazing experience and can’t wait to visit again, even if it’s just to stay in the villa!

My wife and I stayed for two nights, dinner, bed and breakfast and we had a wonderful time. Our hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble which made our stay over even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend taking the dinner option! You will be blown away by the food and the service, the host is an amazing chef and the hostess is elegant service personified! We would highly recommend. Barry and Niesha Snarr. Yorkshire-England

Follow the private road, and you will find, hidden in the woods, amongst 300 years old oaks, a delightful 18th century house, restored with love and care. The old chapel and farm dated 1868 accomodate 3 charming holiday rentals and the wedding and meeting venue. Dinner and breakfast are served outside when weather permits or in the 18th century dinning-room ; The set-menu dinner depends of the season and the products of the garden. We will offer you a warm welcome, calm and comfort, a moment out of time, where you can find life pleasant and easy. A step back in time.
This place is truly exceptional. Suzie and Eric have restored this old manor house into a very special place. The location is remote - it's off a beaten track but not difficult to find with a satnav, and thus peacefully quiet. Our room (Chambre Romantique €116 per night) was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and shuttered windows. With two new knees initially I was dismayed by the bathroom which looked very elegant with a stand alone bath and shower above it with double draped curtains but I need not have worried - I soon learned to negotiate it. Our room was in the main house, and we were encouraged to explore (and could have used much of it.) Separate sitting room with TV and piano, extensive library and wine collection, and in the basement the original kitchen with an old range, large table and chairs (servants' hall) and scullery. Each of these rooms, like the whole house, very tastefully decorated. On the first night, Eric and Suzie were going out, but they left us a fabulous salad and a bottle of lovely wine which we ate outside with the two dogs for company. In fact we were left in charge - there was no question of locking everything up! The next evening we, and other people staying, were served a lovely dinner outside. Lots of chat with Eric over a complimentary aperatif: he is a keen rugby fan and speaks excellent english, although we did try to speak to him mostly in french. Breakfast can be taken either in the lovely dining room or at tables outside: it was very good with eggs cooked to order and lovely fresh bread and croissants. We stayed for two nights: our total bill came to €423: we only wished we could have stayed longer and very much look forward to returning. Very highly recommended. The swimming pool, on a terrace below the house is excellent.

Villa CAROLINE, Bed and Breakfast . Old renovated house in the medieval city of ALBI, Unesco World Heritage. The Villa Caroline is perfectly located, facing the Cathedral and the Episcopal city. 3 Large bedrooms with a/c and Wifi. A terrasse oriented south has a astonishing view that guests can enjoy for the breakfast. The Villa Caroline can accomodate 9 people.
We stayed at Villa Caroline for three nights recently and were so happy to have found this wonderful place! Mario is an impeccable host - friendly, accommodating and very, very, efficient. The location is convenient- just across the bridge from the famous cathedral, but wonderfully quiet. The views from the terrace are something I will remember forever. Breakfast on the terrace with fresh fruit, home made yogurt and jams, and fresh baked croissants, while looking onto that remarkable cathedral was the best way to start the day. Thank you Mario - we have stayed in many places over the years and this was one to remember!

It was purely by chance that I came across and booked L’Ancienne Auberge while looking for somewhere to stay near Albi. I have to say that we struck pure gold. The hotel is in a stunning walled village with outstanding views. Greg and Sophie who run it are a delight. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived at 9pm and Greg had said that he would give us something simple to eat on arrival. This meant a two course meal! I recommend that you eat in the hotel in the evenings. The food is all home cooked and very good. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The village is rated as one of the most beautiful in France which it certainly is. Easy to walk around, amazing views, pretty good parking even if you have to walk a little way sometimes. We had the most marvellous three days there and would recommend the Auberge and Puycelsi without hesitation. Merci Greg et Sophie

Bed and Breakfast located in Castres (81 - Tarn - France). We welcome you in our Domain, real Small manor house of the XVIIth century. We are in the middle of a 5 hectares park, of which a landscape garden of 5000 M2 around the house. All dedicated to peace and relaxation.
We stayed just one night in the bedroom orchide after we purchased a motorcycle in Castres, This is not a 5 star Trump hotel but a Napoleonic villa and has all the character and ambience of that period. Food was super tasty and plenty of it. The breakfast included in the room tariff was more than ample and delicious. Pascal was the perfect host.

This hotel is spotlessly clean. All amenities are new and show none of the wear and tear found in many similar hotels. The showers are great with strong water pressure. The mattresses are flat, firm and comfortable. There are ample electrical sockets for those traveling with more than one computer. The rooms are exceptionally quiet. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. They provided good recommendations about where to taste wine and what tourist sites to see. It is located just 5 minutes from central Gaillac and only 15 minutes from Albi. Most importantly, it is located within a 2 minute drive to the best pizza restaurant we have found in France, Pizzeria A Capella, which will deliver to the hotel, if requested. Directions to this pizzeria are available at the hotel.

The Raymond VII hotel is located in a building on the top of Cordes old town which, at least for some parts, is abt. 800 years old. Absolutely lovely brickwork, an enchanting courtyard, etc. Getting to the hotel by car is an adventure, leaving the old town, on a rainy day with soaked pavement and 20% slopes is madness. The room we had was quite large, lovely beamed ceiling and a stunning view over an unspoiled countryside. The two twin beds were good, firm matresses and nice linen. Fluffy towels in the bathroom. The gentleman who received us was friendly, in a scruffy way, helpful in explaining car parking and feeding places ( only 2 in October). On the minus side - carpets in the room you would not want to walk on barefoot and a very tired bathroom, with the exception of a new shower stall. Watch out, the hot water is scalding. In the bedroom no information whatsoever on hotel facilities and amenities or, for that matter, on what the town of Cordes might offer (a lot). It leaves the impression of a lovely under-loved facility which does not reach the potential it could have. Same goes for the town of Cordes with many buildings crumblng, shut-down hotels and restaurants and a general appearance of neglect. What a shame! Not worth the detour.

Charming Bed and breakfast close to Albi (juste selected at the UNESCO). Situated 10 minutes from Albi, the Domaine du Buc is an old family home which has been carefully renovated to retain its original appearance. This château/manor house was restored at the end of the 19th century and gives a real sense ofthe “Belle Epoque” period. The natural setting and authentic atmosphere combine to ensure a memorable stay. Swimming pool and extensive grounds of 30 acres. The white marble staircase leads up to 5 charming bedrooms filled with beautiful family [ … ]. A new accomodation : the luxury guesthouse in the "Pigeonnier" is now avalable for 2 or 4 people (from 2020) . It is very nice cottage at the groundfloor, with private terrasse, garden and high quality material .. "Un petit bijou" !!
What a lovely property. Such a great relaxing stay and great breakfast. The property is beautiful and it was great to just walk out the back and be in the countryside. The host looked after all of our needs.
