Check out my lunch ~ Picadillo Bison Empanadas: Bison, raisins, tomatoes, onions, Kalamata olives, and spices, simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, baked into a pastry dough crust. Served with a side salad.Simply delicious! Our waitress was such a thoughtful individual with a wonderful energy and provided some great suggestions to stop at in Taos. We weren't in a rush and loved the laid back pace.p.s. Easy to miss on the left when you're on 64 heading South/East - in the back of the other shops so keep a look out and turn around if you go to far!Be well LipstickWarriors

During our recent (second) trip to Taos we knew had to bring our kiddos here. When my husband and I came before the food was stellar and more than enough. Service was also good. This time the service was subpar. Everyone except the lady refilling coffee responded to the customers as if they couldn't stand them, yet danced and sang by the radio together in the corner. The food was just decent this time. This was a huge disappointment because we had been looking to coming in again since our previous visit. The high chair they provided was literally falling apart. I had to twist in a main screw which holds the side and chair portion together. A close friend recommended #1 but we figured since it was good before, one is as good as the other. Apparently, not so much.

Young lady who served us was friendly and helpful. Food was good, not great. Restaurant was clean and brightly painted. Overall, a good place to eat.

We happened in because we saw they served 12 hour bone broth. Sometimes you have to try to eat healthy on vacation. Well this place is amazing. Very simple in design. The wait staff couldnât be nicer or more helpful. The food is heavenly! Several dishes are based on the fabulous bone broth. The simple soups are amazing and the enhanced soup dishes with grains veggies and chicken are filling and outa of this world! The sandwiches are fresh and exciting. The salads are fresh and flavorful. We usually get a soup variation and split the sandwich and salad that comes with the sandwich. Then one morning we happened in for breakfast. Oh my, what a treat! The quiche was flaky and buttery and full of great flavors! It was enough to take home for lunch. The egg dishes are wonderful. They are only opened til 4 pm so no dinner. But the sister restaurant THE LOVE APPLE is open for dinner. This little gem is located in the plaza downtown and you can easily walk to it. The indoor or outdoor seating is pleasant. The pastries and ice cream look good but we are always to full of fabulous food to indulge! This is a must visit when in Taos!

We are in Taos for a bridge competition and don't like the hotel breakfast, so went wandering this morning for something else. Came across this diner. Very pleasant ambiance, equally pleasant and efficient staff. Our food was typical breakfast fare - eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, toast, coffee and tea. Portions were sizable, everything was served promptly and hot, and we would happily go back.

A favorite among locals and tourists alike, Gutiz serves creative Latin-French cuisine at affordable prices.
Came in based on the reviews and must say the operations of the restaurant are a mess. Nice people, but a 55 mins wait on food from the kitchen even after waiting 20 mins for a table is just terribly slow. We had to get up twice to ask for more beverage and our check because our waitress disappeared. You had 2 people sitting at a table for 5-6 which made no sense, the AC is broken so itâs musty inside and there was no communication between servers which made the experience poor at best. Our order came and they forgot our sides of chile and at that point we spent almost 2 hours on a meal that should take 45 mins in total. Canât blame it on being busy, itâs just poorly run. Sadly a disappointing experience, ok food and not worth the visit if youâre from out of town. Maybe good service for the area but if Taos expects to get more tourism $$$ spent in town, some serious business and restaurant training is needed

This tiny adobe pit stop is easy to overlook but worth finding. The small sign above the door simple says CAFE, but there is another hanging sign with Oh My Garden our front. The veggie quiche is delicious with a crisp crust and comfort-producing fluff inside! Espresso made to order including soy and almond milk options. Original artwork posted inside is for sale. Nice little off-the-grid stop heading out of Taos toward SAnta Fe.

Just missed breakfast, so wait for food was as a bit long due to changeover. Server was polite, attentive, and appropriately apologetic.Menu varied and everything cooked to order. Flavorful and well prepared. Can either dine inside or on an outdoor patio. Relaxing ambiance. Bent Street Deli and Cafe is an excellent mid price range dining option in Taos.
