Things to do in El Prado
Family owned and operated since 2014. Serving up local Native American and New Mexican flared cuisine along with daily specials made from local fresh ingredients! Also serving a variety of summer time cool drinks!
We ate here in June. We each had an Indian taco: blue corn fry bread, delicious red chili, lettuce, tomato, cheese. It was one of the best lunches we had while we were in Taos.

We are in Taos for a bridge tournament, and went out to dinner at this restaurant this evening after today's play. The dining room was very nice, the food ditto, the prices ditto. Negatives would be that parking was difficult and service was slow, but I think service is slow most places now because of the tight labor market. We would happily go back.

The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are e
We heard about this place from a local business as we were asking for a nice lunch spot. Climb up stairs or take the elevator to roof top seating or eat inside enjoy a spacious room with lots of seating. Room to enjoy and expansive food and drink menu. We were impressed with great food delivered very quickly by staff that cared about your enjoyment. Impressive.Highly recommend.

Fine Dining Taos Style! We offer a wonderful selection of organic meats, locally grown salads, custom made desserts, and much more! Patio seating available. Large parties. Private party building. Catering. Dog Friendly Patio
Sit outside on the patio if the weather permits. That's the best way to experience the restaurant. The menu is outstanding with a full selection of appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. They all have small tweeks to make them uniquely New Mexico. They also have a full bar and small, but excellent wine list. They carry several Mew Mexico wines including a good sparkling wine. In addition to the regular menu, they have nightly specials. The night we were there they had a small plate of muscles cooked in a cream sauce with green chile and a creamy potato soup. We enjoyed both immensely. We both had the prime rib special, medium rare and medium, and were both happy with the way they were cooked. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening.

Doc Martin's Restaurant is an acclaimed dining establishment located in a registered historic landmark. A Taos tradition for locals and visitors alike, the warm ambiance of Doc's has been a gathering place since the 1920s and 30s. Our menu is a presentati
We enjoyed our dinner at Doc Martin's, especially our excellent server - who also filled us in on the building's history. (It turned out that we were eating in what had been Doc Martin's home.) The menu was extensive, and the food was quite good (although not quite the best that we enjoyed in Taos).Dear 598PhilC,Thank you for dining with us at Doc Martin's. I am happy to read that you enjoyed your dinner and our team shared the history of Doc Martin's. We look forward to you returning and trying some of our other menu items.Sincerely,Joe KendallGeneral ManagerDoc Martin's / Historic Taos Inn

Lambert's of Taos is a family-owned full service, upscale establishment serving Contemporary American cuisine in an elegant but relaxed setting. We are one of the few establishments in town that serves cocktails in addition to beer and wine. Upstairs we h
On previous stops in Taos, we've walked past Lambert's, not having any idea of what was waiting inside. Last night, though, we were in for a glorious treat. Though we had no reservation (you'll want to make one) we were still able to be offered dinner in either of the two bars and chose the downstairs bar that had a kiva fireplace, a few tables and also nice seating at the bar itself. Staff were amazingly attentive and friendly, we felt truly pampered at our fireside table. The menus are excellent. Our LYFT driver assured us we'd be dining at the best restaurant in town and that's exactly how we felt. Not usually a person impressed by salad dressing, I have to say the Gorgonzola Herb dressing on our Hydro Bibb Wedge was beyond delicious. For our entrees, both were what we were craving, beautiful to look at and cooked perfectly. We ordered and definitely would recommend:Hydro Bibb Wedge- pickled red onion, gorgonzola, red chile candied bacon, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, gorgonzola herb dressing.Gold Canyon Lamb Loin- moroccan spiced, roasted eggplant puree, bone marrow salsa verde, grilled asparagus.Maple Leaf Farms Grilled Duck Breast- fregola with Salazar tasso ham, wilted summer greens, pickled peach relish.Creme Brûlée for dessert. We order creme brûlée, anywhere it's offered and this was the BEST we've had, yet.Thank You Lambert's staff, so much, our evening was beautiful, comfortable and absolutely delicious. We will be back.
