They are far far away from what is called as "Fine Dining". We ordered Soups, Starters and Main Course. First came the Starters !! Then came the Soup!! And in 2 minutes came the Main course!! Even before we could finish the soup. We requested them to hold on the main course, but they denied. Said that all food in an order are prepared at the same time. Finally, by the time we finished Starters, the Rotis and Naans were cold as ice. Had to leave them on the plate. The only solace was that Soups and starters were tasty.. Try Devilled Chicken and Kozhi Varutharachathu. Dessert is okay okay. One may skip...

"Kannappa " a fine dine Resturant which serves authentic Chettindau Cuisine.
Good chettinaad food. Excruciatingly small portions. In fact a north Indian colleague of mine saw the mutton chukka portion and commented "is that an achaar"?We had the kidney fry, mutton bone soup and the mutton nalli fry with egg apams. Satisfying meal but pricy for the portion size.Dear Guest,Vanakkam!Thank You for the wonderful and valuable feedback on Trip Advisor! We went to this highly recommended restaurant with high hopes. The restaurant is in two different sites which do not connect with each other (barring 15 yards of hallway and steps). One is vegetarian and the other non-vegetarian. We went there to have meat and fish etc. There were 6 to 8 waiting staff in addition to whoever was in the kitchen, but there were only 2 other tables with customers and they were all about to leave. I ordered chicken soup, to be followed by a rice, an egg curry, a prawn curry and a naan.50 minutes after we ordered, the soup arrived, but it must be hot....it was only lukewarm.Another 40 minutes passed until we got the rest of our food, and they never cleared the lukewarm soup away. I guess the mains were just ok, but not worth the wait. We left with our hopes dashed.

âKannappa â a fine dine Resturant which serves authentic Chettindau Cuisine.
This is one of the best Chettinad Restaurant in Trichy. The Mutton Biryani is really awesome with the jeeraga samba rice and the Dalcha as a side dish is a super combo for it. The non veg meals is really worth for your money and the Keerai(Spinach) and Rasam will definitely relish your taste buds. They also have rabbit, country chicken fry. They also have good starters in chicken, mutton and fish. If you visit Trichy you should definitely try anyone of their three branches without fail.Dear Guest,Vanakkam!Thank You for the wonderful and valuable feedback on Trip Advisor! We had been here to this restaurant for our Lunch on a Sunday. Ambiance is very good...Customer Service is satisfactory. Parking facility is available. However we feel that food quality can be improved... Cost is somewhat on the higher side. For example, they charge Rs.58 for a single chapati with ordinary side dishes.Dear Twinkle,Thank you so much for taking the time to place your review and rating on TripAdvisor and the same has been noted by us. We stayed at Red Fox Hotel, Trichy. Shri Sangeetas is located near to this hotel. Turn left as you exit the hotel and walk down the busy road. After 3 minutes, you will be able to see Shri Sangeetas across the junction. We visited the restaurant number of times. Enjoyed their thalis, thosai and puri. Sometimes we walk over just for some milk shakes and fruit juices. On our last day, we visited their sweet shop next to the restaurant. Bought some ghee mysore pak and soan papdi. Absolutely fresh and delicious !Dear User,Thank you for taking the time to place your review and rating on TripAdvisor and the same has been noted by us.
