We had a large family a la carte dinner. The dosas were ok but the starters and curries were not up to the mark. The food was too oily and spicy similar to numerous fast food joints in Chennai. The main restaurant in Egmore used to be really authentic North Karnataka cuisine but the new avatar in Adyar fell short of expectations.

I had been there recently with my wife and those who have a taste for Chettinadu Cuisine will enjoy this food.Their service is courteous.Their Non Vegetarian Thali,Fried Kingfish, fried prawns,Chicken Chettinadu and their gravy. Itâs a little greasy and spicy.Their curries, spices have a distinct aroma and itâs a different taste to the palate.Dr.Javed Rasheed

Landed up here for a business lunch on a Sunday. The decor gives you the feeing of having entered a village house, with mud walls, kolam on the walls, et.alExpected to see traditional TN dishes on the menu, was so disappointed to see tandoor and North Indian dishes dominating the menu. Ordered Chicken Biryani, Mutton Sukka and a masala buttermilk. The biryani was supposed to be Chettinad style, had long grain rice, very dry, tastes okay. Mutton Sukka was about alright. Prices are nominal. Mea for 2 at 800.Nothing worth your time.
This eatout, started as a small chat shop, has now developed into a mini restaurant. Channa samosa, sev puri are must try in chat section. And do try out the veg spring roll! Quantity of chat items are large(except pani puri), so i recommend to finish off and then order the second.

The restaurant is inside a Residential Area Gandhinagar ... The ambiance is simple...Food served here is different ..Ragi,Millets and wild rice varieties ...But don't go away..They are all cooked in a very tasty manner...Plantain flower vadai, wild rice biriyani.. Plalak (Manathakkali) chapathis and a full millet meal ... The board outside states..No maida,No white sugar and no refined oil ... So much for lunchMornings and evenings they serve most south Indian dishes but prepared from ragi millets wild rice etc. The price is minimal for an A/c restaurant ... It is a new experience.. As the restaurant is in a colony car parking is on the road only.

I had a good time at Cilantro restaurant with their lavish buffet spread. The staff were very courteous and helpful as I landed at their closing hours of lunch time. Biryani, curd rice, mutton curry and deserts are good. Special thanks to Ms Bhavani from Cilantro team for her courteous support.

Pind is one of my favourite dining restaurant. However, I am visiting this restaurant after a long time and found that although the food service and ambience was good I felt their quality of food (especially quality and taste of Paneer) has slipped down from the tip notch position it had.

I am writing about the branch of Sangeetha restaurant located at the domestic departure terminal of Chennai Airport... Agreed that we are getting good vegetarian Food from this restaurant.. Food very nice.... at what cost...?Since this is outside the Airport, we tend to believe that the cost of dishes may not be that much high when compared to the Food available inside the Airport... However our view is wrong.. Prices are very much on the higher side..For eg: One Masala Dosa cost Rs. 171.43 one pongal costs Rs.138.10Idly 2 Nos.61.90 etc....In case you would like to have a parcel/take delivery,,,,you have to pay additional charges. Can the hotel authorities check the price and make available food at a moderate cost to the passengers....
