I suspect many of the reviews here are staff written. I arrived upstairs at 4pm, the advertised opening time. I was told to wait until 4.15pm for the kitchen to open. At this time I made my order. I was surprised that it took 1 hour for the meal to be prepared and served, received at 5.15pm, and after meals were served to other guests who arrived after me. The meal was cold and crumbly, and was burnt (charred black around the edges and not pleasant). I triple checked to see if I was at the right place, which I was. Would not return. Regret that you had a poor experience at our property but suspecting that many reviews are written by our own staff is preposterous! Each reviewer has their own story to tell, whether good or bad. A bad review from your side is understandable as you could have your own preferences but accusing us of deceiving our patrons by fake reviews is definitely not in good taste. Assuring all our patrons of our best services possible!Bon appetit!

Food taste is not good .. gravy taste poor .. lunch is poor.. if it continues soon it will reach its end .. service normal .. ambience ok .. I just felt unhappy .. will avoid in my next trips .. ample car parking is the only advantage

Kumar Mess is a very popular restaurant known for South Indian Non Veg cuisine in Madurai. We had been here for dinner and had their non veg thali. We found it a bit spicy but quiet tasty.

We used to visit this Bhojanalaya whenever we visit Madurai. This Mohan Bhojanalaya is located at Danappa Mudali Street, just opposite to Hotel Temple View.OK ambiance... Service is too Good.. In this restaurant you get real tasty North Indian Dishes like.. Roti Chapati Butter Roti Pulka Sweets Good Curd etc...there are various Combos available here and you can choose any as per your choice.. Sharing Combo is also available. Roti and the subjies are very good. Cost is also moderate. When you come out of this restaurant, you feel like having tasted a very good food..

I think this used to be an apartment hotel. The eating/sitting area is shared between three bedrooms of which are all ensuite. Breakfast is brought up to the eating are in the morning.This is slightly out of the centre but a short tuk tuck drive gives easy access.

Went to Madurai Kitchen for a special occasion and had an excellent time there. The food served was delicious and the support staffs were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the support staff Ms. Payal for her friendly behaviour and excellent attitude. Highly recommendable for a buffet.
