We visited Kotagiri and planned a small visit to Conoor. La Belle had good review so decided to go for lunch there.It is a very scenic location.We ordered Meen curry with raw mangoes. It tasted out of the world with steamed rice.For starters we ordered Tempura Prawns, the coating was not well fried, but the size of the prawns was good. The dip served alongside was very interesting tangy and with red chilies, should try it. The sweet dish n apple pie with cream was a let down. It had over powering taste of cinnamon and this ended the lunch with a bad taste. The pie was very dry and we were told we will get icecream but came with cream which did not go wellOverall experience Ambience - Excellent Service - goodFood - good Price - expensive.

Went there several times during our stay at Ponmari Residency. We had our dinner and also had our complementary breakfast there. Thumbs up for:1. Very good location.2. Very good and helpful staffs.3. Good food with lot of options. Breakfast buffet was quite good with loads of option I must mention. Specially the South Indian dishes were awesome !4. If you request them for some customization, they happily do that for you. (As we requested them not to add curry leaves or tamarind in our egg curry and to make it less spicy, they served the dishes according our taste ).5. Very good ambiance, lot of comfortable sitting arrangements were there.6. Quality and quantity both were very good.Thumbs down for:1. Prices are a little bit high for some dishes.2. Service is very very slow.3. They mostly serve South Indian dishes in buffet, apart from juice, tea, coffee or cornflakes etc. They need to add some North Indian dishes to their menu, which will be prepared in North Indian style.4. Tea Nest and Tea Nest Annexe are mid- budget home styles boutique stays. Tea Nest has about 7 rooms and Annexe has 2.We stayed for a night in Tea Nest in Hibiscus room and three. Nights in Annexe.Both properties function similarly and what will stand out is hospitality, personalised service, privacy and the forever smiling staff so eager to be of use. Location of these properties is also a highlight. Go for morning and evening walks and you sure will spot a herd of bisons and we spotted a pair of bears too. Bird life is rich as is flora. Nature in abundance and a stream flowing by that you can hear but not see. The play of monkeys for morning cheer and endless cups of tea. This is a place to unwind and letâs itâs natural pace take over. Compliments to the staff of both Tea Nest and Annexe. We were served so well that for sure Iâll visit again. If in Coonoor, stay no where else!

For all the food lovers, this is a place one should definitely park. Its not always about yummiest food but what keeps me glued to this particular restaurant is the staff. They are always welcoming, friendly and willing to go an extra mile for achieving customer satisfaction. Authentic Chinese Delights. OMG!!! how can I miss specifying about one of their signature dish "Crackling Spinach"... its out of the world. Understood from them that the spinach which they use for the dish is home grown. Absolutely organic. So are their other products, we are impressed by their quality. Must go place in Kotagiri:)

Pros:located on main roadRoom is very good with a glass patio to get wonderful viewstaffs are very friendly and good.Breakfast options are limited to idly and poori and taste was goodCons:Lunch was very bad.Espescially rotis are not cooked properly and gravy was also not tastybreakfast service started very late around 9.30AM

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant in Kotagiri.It has a nice garden and a good view of the mountain.We had lunch at this place on 19th October,2017 and the food was good.However,the service time was not fast and it gets perhaps,they were not expecting the crowd on that day.Good place for having vegetarians in Kotagiri.

I recently visited Kotagiri enroute Ooty and has decided to stop by at Kotagiri. When enquired few of my friends, I came to know about Lakshmi holiday inn and stayed here. Their business core theme is nature by side and I found the beautiful tea estate view from the hotel..Conor and Kodanadu are few of the sight seeings around Kotagiri. Lakshmi holiday inn has perfect rooms in luxury and standard and one canât miss the luxury for its wonderful accommodation. They have a wonderful restaurant with quality food served..each and every dish was excellent and all the staffs with good smile and great hospitality..house of terrarium...was wondering what wa that and see the creature of the nature in small glass covered jugs..I am so much happy with all in Kotagiri+restaurant and planned to do yearly visits with the stay in Lakshmi holiday inn and cover the queen of hills Ooty, which is only 17 kms away from this place..

Earlier they had two varieties of veg rolls but unfortunately now there is just panneer and nothing else. Nonetheless it is a fantastic roll and i dont mind eating just this.
