Our rooms are well ventilated with air conditioning, water heaters, cable TV, fridges and free wifi. We have the following room types to suit your taste; Standard, Deluxe and Executive rooms. You are assured of great Ghanaian and northern hospitality is assured during your stay with us.
Our room was clean and well air conditioned. The toilet did not flush well, but there was a bucket there, allowing me to get water from the shower to flush it. There was no fan in the bathroom, so our room got rather stinky while I tried to get the toilet to flush. I could not get water to come out through the shower head, but it came out through the wand, which worked for me. A single coffee cup was provided, along with a electric kettle to boil water, one tea bag and one sachet of instant coffee. A second cup would have been appreciated because when we got up in the morning at 7 AM, the time we had discussed with the management when we arrived, the cook was not present, which delayed our breakfast and our departure. The internet password we were given when we arrived allowed us to connect to the network, but there did not actually seem to be any internet. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off of the wall. Everyone we dealt with there was friendly and helpful, so it wasn't a bad experience, but not a great one.

It's nice cozy hotel to stay , very cooperative staffs . The only disappointment is it's bit out of the Main Street . Rest nice rooms with good electricity , water and Internet services . Nicely priced for budget customers .

After trekking all over Tamale to find a decent place to stay during a business trip, African Dream Hotel finally did it for me. The Irony is i did not start out looking for the hotels via TripAdvisor, only remembering later and there were no surprises on account of the positive reviews. The owners were so warm and friendly, even got us to try some new food which were surprisingly great. My initial skepticism was blown out of the water after tasting it. This was a meal of Yam prepared shea butter and some onion made into some kind of lumpy mash potatoes, garnished with slightly fried onions to go with sautéed vegetables. Their regular food is really nice coupled with the fact that they use local rice for their rice meals. I hope the next time am there, their mud hut chalets will be operational. I would love to experience that african safari and village life feel. Perhaps management can think about getting some peacocks, ostriches and some other animals on their big grounds to be enjoyed by patrons. I will definitely stay at African dream again.

We are located at Vittin Target. Completely new built facility, opened in 2015. Our main attractive point is the well trained and friendly staff, always willing to be of help and service. All rooms have a bathroom with flushing toilet, hand wash basin and shower. In front of the rooms you have your own veranda where you can relax, eat your breakfast or just hang out. Our restaurant can Ghanaian kitchen and continental, for example pizza, potato chips and lasagna. The lodge is about two miles from town center and you can either walk, bike or take a taxi to visit the center of town. We have executive rooms with television and air condition. Clinton Lodge and Restaurant is simply the friendliest, most luxury place to be close to the town center of Tamale. We are always willing to provide you with information about transport options to all the interesting places in the North. Car rental is also possible. You can also swim for free in our ultra modern pool.
My friends and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are small, some furniture was broken but the bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom were pretty clean. The staff at this place is very friendly and attended to all our requests. They have a bice garden with pool, which was kind of crowded on the weekend with guests from outside. For the cheap price it´s a good option though.

It’s rare to find a place with welcoming hosts who go out of their way to provide excellent service and cater to the whims of a guest. The recent pandemic has slowed things down, but there’s excellent food, greenery and really nice rooms, there are bigger suites and smaller rooms for those who need it. My Stay in Tamale was made less stressful as I did not have to worry about food, the restaurant offers a wide variety of food items at reasonable prices for the Quality and Quantity. The place has a homey feel ! An absolute delight? Would definitely go back, even if it’s for the food alone.

Set in two buildings the Arewa Sunshine Hotel is a well-established hotel close to the centre of Tamale. With 12 air conditioned all ensuite rooms in three configurations, the hotel also offers an outdoor and indoor restaurant, a bar and a meeting room capable of hosting up to 50 people in a theatre style setting. Visitors have a complimentary drink upon arrival.
Having stayed here for a few days, I cannot but notice that the place has serious challenges when it comes to maintenance and customer service, not matter how much the very friendly personnel may try : No beer or other alcoholic beverages in stock ( for religious reasons, the owner being a Muslim), but receptionist will arrange to buy outside. Extremely limited range of soft drinks, during my stay only bottled water and malt was available. The menu is a typical Ghanaian restaurants one with only a few of the many dishes offered available. Neither the complimentary welcome drink nor the fresh fruit juice was available. Water pressure quite low, short of a trickle No extra coffee available at 6 in the morning, which is bad for a coffee addict like myself(Receptionist directed me to a shop opposite to buy my own) The food I took was also nothing to write home about, the chips came veeery crispy(read short of burnt), the guinea fowl hard and dry, in spite of being in Mango season and abundance of same in the compound there was none available. Having said that, this is a very calm and nice hotel with attentive waiters and receptionists, who would go the extra mile to cater for guests wishes. The free WiFi was quite good, with fluctuations owed to the ISPs abysmally poor services in Ghana. The online booking through Amadeus and hotels.com did not work, nor are the messages sent through the hotels website replied. I found this hotel far from being anything luxury and quite pricey. There is a back-up generator and lighting, fans and fridges are operating on PV solar system. All in all not soo bad, but a lot of room for improvement.

When the receptionist showed me to my room, another lady was still preparing it, after which they sent me back down to the lobby. I then came up again, to find that the water was not running, the fan was broken, the TV was not working, and neither were most buttons on the AC remote control. On the information paper in the room, it said that the hotel had a restaurant that was open for lunch and dinner from 12 noon to 10 pm. When I went downstairs at 6 to have dinner, the restaurant was closed, and when I asked about it they said "No, only breakfast." And when I mentioned what it said on the paper, they looked at me with a very puzzled look. They did not know that their own hotel was supposed to have a restaurant...? The man then ordered a pizza for me, which was quite expensive, took an hour longer to come than expected, and had a very strong weird taste of alcohol. On the upside, the breakfast was all right and the staff were overall friendly. Do be aware that if you have a room of a lower rate, you get less breakfast. I got a small omelette with some toast, while other people also got an oatmeal. I was still hungry. The bed was huge though and reasonably comfortable, but the room was not worth 150 cedi per night.

Pagata camera singola 140 cedis

Radach hotel has(3) types of rooms, that is standard single, standard double and executive room. All rooms are self-contained.
This was my second trip to Tamale and to Radach Lodge and so nothing actually surprised or shocked me. Radach is as close to a “western”-style hotel as you will find in Tamale. The rooms are large enough so you don’t feel claustrophobic and are kept quite clean. The staff are relatively friendly but have little sense of customer service: They will pull out their cell phones and talk to friends and family when they should be serving you; they will fail to tell you when and where breakfast is being served; they will wait for you to ask for a bath towel rather than offer it to you on their own; they will tell you your air conditioning is working when it isn’t; you will ask to have CNN added to your TV and it will never happen and they will not follow up on any of these. The staff spend a lot of time sitting around watching television when they could and should be out and about serving customers and cleaning the more public areas- balconies, the reception/lobby, courtyard, hallways and stairwells. (By the way, the only WiFi is in the lobby and it is very, very weak! ) I’ll be back because it’s the best in town but not because they do things well!
