Home of the award-winning Galley Boy! Friendly curb runners serving up fresh, never-frozen burgers, shakes, & crispy extras since 1934!
W you have to try the Galley boy! It’s like no other burger out there. It’s very yummy and the fries are great too!

If you are concerned about healthy eating do NOT go here! They put cheese, bacon, bologna and other sorts of fat-filled items on most entrees. There are very few “healthy” choices...then you have to ask them to leave off the bacon bits and cheese! It’s a very loud place and plenty of TVs, so if that’s your love, you’ll enjoy this sports-bar-wanna-be! Otherwise, go elsewhere. Oh yeh, by the way, the baguette they bring to the table with the salad, is hard and stale! But my wife had a great idea...we saved it, brought it home, made croutons with it and...appropriately....gave the rest to the birds!

"Maple stick donuts" were recommended by my friend to try while we were visiting Ohio. Found Jubilee Donuts through Trip Advisor & now understand why she liked them so much! The filling - whether vanilla, strawberry creme or, my favorite, banana - was delicious. The donut part was nicely crisp. Unfortunately, I paid more for a dozen than I expected based on their menu pricing.

Swenson in University Hrs is now opened. The official opening is next week. Today I tried the Coney dog. So good. Mushrooms were delicious. Milk shake thick and good. However, although I have tried the Galley Boy 4 times, even added lettuce and tomato, I don't like it. I know it is the signature sandwich but that sauce is not good. Yuck!!. I will return for something else because the service is exceptional. Servers are fun to watch as the run from car to car.

We are a cafe & bakery specializing in European cuisine and pastry for breakfast and lunch. We offer a menu that changes weekly, source our ingredients through local farms and quality purveyors, (D'artagnan, Browne Trading, Sea to Table, etc) and maintain high standards with respect to quality, service and preparation. We refuse to use products that contain hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup.
First of all, the food was excellent. Secondly, the waiter was friendly, informative and not overbearing. We took our good friend from Chicago to lunch at the The Blue Door. Our friend is a connoisseur of good food, so when he asked when The Blue Door was opening a cafe in Chicago, we knew The Blue Door more than passed inspection. Come on, now, folks, how uppity can you be to write a negative review of a restaurant that has no sign marking its location and has customers waiting in line for lunch on a daily basis?

Wish they could clone the older lady at the drive-thru - she is super!!!!! Always fast and courteous!!! Of course, the coffee is great and the bagels/muffins delish!!! Wish they would bring back the cranberry muffins! The breakfast sandwiches leave a lot to be desired, in my opinion - obviously microwaved as they get hard.

Gionino's has the best crust and sauce. They don't chince on toppings. My favorite is the Popeye pizza- which has fresh spinach and white sauce. Their Gourmet Cheese has 4 or 5 incredibly fresh cheeses (we usually add pep, too). They're not cheap, but they're delicious!

I reviewed Moe's a few years ago and said sit on bar side. Well, we just ate in the dining room and it was outstanding. The atmosphere, service and presentation were all very good. The food was delicious, our group of 6 tried beef tenderloin, halibut, scallops and salmon. Everyone enjoyed the entrees and various accompaniments. Prices were about $30 and included delicious bread and soup or salad. The only negative is the aweful parking lot, it wouldn't take much to improve it.

I visited on a Wednesday where the appetizers are half off and I ordered The guacamole which was very good...there were chunks of avocado which I love and the chips were home-made, you could tell. Also the waitress was just amazing. She was enthusiastic about the place and she recommended that I try the quesadilla that was on special for $7... It had steak chicken and shrimp in it with green peppers and cheese. So, I got that and it was amazing. The tortilla was perfectly textured and all the flavors just came together really nicely. I consider myself a Mexican food snob and I am giving this place a five out of five star rating!

Luigi’s was a treat! The waitress took a lot of time with us, recommending and explaining the menu. We settled on fried Zucchini with marinara sauce for an appetizer, which was so amazing that I would have been happy eating that all night. Daughter and I split a small pizza and spaghetti with marinara and ordered two meatballs on the side. Meatballs and pasta dish were exceptional. Pizza was good, too. Overall, a hit! This is the kind of Italian restaurant that I grew up within the East Coast. Humble, photos on the wall, red-checked curtains, great food, happy waitstaff. Will return!
