The Capital City shares a deep-rooted history and culture with ample doses of fun and authenticity. A fusion of cosmopolitan flair and Southern charm defines the city. Situated on Florida’s I-10 corridor in the Panhandle, Tallahassee is a place where college town meets history, politics meets culture and natural adventures abound.

Really yummy, need I say more. I had the California and it was delicious. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks and the service was exceptional.

Birdshot - variant of Eggs Benedict.
I️ really like this change from the traditional. Would recommend if you are an Eggs Benedict fan.
Two scrambled eggs placed over homefries (cubed fried potatoes) then covered with hollandaise sauce and chopped bacon, served with toast points
Californian omelette - Grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushroom, spinach, and avocado with feta cheese.
Not recommended. Too many onions and peppers. The feta cheese was good, But could use some regular cheese to glue it together.
Elvis Style French Toast - Good but more like a dessert than a meal.
Creamy peanut butter and sliced banana between two slices of Texas Style French bread dredged in a vanilla-cinnamon egg dip and grilled until golden then topped with cinnamon butter and powdered sugar
Bada Breakfast - Great traditional American breakfast choice.
Short Stack of Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes or Texas Style French Toast, two eggs any style, 2 slices of thick cut bacon and 2 sausage links.
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes - Similar to The Elvis Style French Toast this is more like a dessert than a meal. Great though.
Coffees - the regular coffee is great. The specialty coffees and great as well, but a little too sweet.
This is also a great choice if you are looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
Opens at 7:30 am
Highly recommend.

Second trip here and definitely more impressed the second time around. The service was great and we were seated (group of 6) with 15 minutes on a Saturday night. The appetizers were eclectic and amazing...honestly I was full by the main course. Just all around great food. My only critique for the first time I was here was that they seemed to be out of a lot of items but other than that very good...

This restaurant is fun and different. In Tallahassee with nearly one hundred thousand college students we get many sandwich and hamburger places. Southern graced natural and homespun menus. Can be tough to get seated quickly as it’s very popular. Everything was good. Good portions that are manageable.

Georgio's Fine Food & Spirits is an upscale family owned establishment specializing in fresh local seafood and hand cut USDA prime beef steaks. Our eclectic menu highlights proprietor George Koikos's Greek roots with our large section of Mediterranean dishes, international wines, craft brews and top notch spirits. Mr Koikos has owned restaurants in Tallahassee Florida for over 50 years and believes in doing things the old fashioned way without shortcuts. Our warm and knowledgeable staff will make you feel at home and you can expect to be greeted by a family member while dining with us...most likely George himself or his daughter Eleni. Here at Georgio's you come for the food and leave our friend. We look forward to seeing you at Georio's soon!
One Caesar Salad with Chicken = Two cut up romaine leaves, scant dressing, eight croutons and a half chicken breast. Price? $19.00. $19.00! We knew the price BEFORE we knew the minuscule portion. Unconscionable. This is thievery.
Beef Tip Pita - Way, way, way over-seasoned tough beef. Very little lettuce and tomato. Plenty of tzatziki sauce. I had to eat the thick pita bread just to offset the over-bearing seasonings. I have been to Greece. This was no island adventure.
Terrible meal. Terrible price for a terrible meal.

Service was a bit slow at first but picked up considerably. Sushi was delicious and high quality/quantity of fish... but fish was diced, not simply cut, and seaweed was done in small pieces that didn’t fit around roll rather than wound around rice, then cut or overlapped. End result was the potential for a mess, and a messy bento box for one of the rolls. You can see this in the picture- loses one star because presentation is so important!

Before I get to the Oysters, let me tell you that this place has a great dive bar atmosphere that comes across as genuine, not one of those chain restaurant artificial decor to look hip, this place is hip. Now for the Oysters ... these are Apalachicola Bay Oysters ... big, delicious mouth-fulls of oyster goodness. The folks who work here know how to shuck them too. They slide right off the half shell and into your mouth. Sooo good! Oh, and the oysters were just my appetizer, although I could have made of meal out of ordering more and more of them. Not expensive either! I got the Grouper sandwich, which was delicious. It too was a healthy serving, by which I mean large! They gave the option of having it come with french fries or onion rings. OMG, the onion rings! Plus, if you need something to wash all this goodness down they have a great selection of beer. I will be back!

Pretty good but not great. I ate there two nights in a row. Service is good and friendly. The restaurant is dark and can be loud. The filet is ok but not great. The smashed potatoes were good. The asparagus and broccoli were ok but a little under cooked for my taste.

Ted's Montana Grill serves time-honored American favorites in an atmosphere inspired by the hospitality, food and spirit of the Old West. Our mission is to give guests a fresh, authentic and original experience with every visit. Ted's Montana Grill's made-from-scratch menu is known for our premium hand-cut steaks and gourmet burgers. The menu also offers a variety of time-honored favorites such as crab cakes, cedar plank salmon, daily soups, seasonal vegetables, and house-made desserts. Open for Lunch and Dinner daily.
Having raved about Ted's in my 2017 review, I now submit a new review as of March 2018. Same restaurant, same location.(there's only 1 in Tallahassee).
We were VERY happy they take reservations now, so, no wait on a Saturday night!!
All went great, until my steak came: it was so filled with fat, that even after cutting into different sections all over the steak, I could not avoid it, and finally had to send it back. This was a Delmonico steak, & maybe the cut is always that way, but I've savored steaks all my life and this was definitely at the bottom. The fat was unavoidable, not like what you normally see and cut around in a T-bone. Anyway, the GOOD: the waiter promptly replaced it with Salmon, adjusted the charge, and the manager personally came later to speak to me very politely & be sure I was happy. They handled it in a very classy way, because I was embarrassed to have to send it back.
Sadly, they didn't ask how I wanted the Salmon prepared and, although the flavor was fine, it was cooked much more than my usual preference and I ate it, but didn't love it. I didn't mention it, of course. I should have specified how I wanted the fish cooked. The sides & beer were nice, but not anything unusual for a high class steakhouse. Overall, I won't be so eager to return to Ted's on my next trip to Tallahassee. Disappointed on a night when I was really craving steak. Oh, well, at least my waistline will appreciate the Salmon instead.

CLOSED MONDAYS... SUNDAYS WE SERVE BRUNCH FROM 9 AM. TO 2 PM DINNER AT 4 PM 9:30PM . Check out our newly added Patio!! We have been here for 29 years. If you are expecting a flashy new restaurant with all new furniture and bathrooms the size of living rooms we may not be your spot. But if good, fresh, reasonably priced food is what you are after we may just be it!. The center has been here a lot longer, being built about 1960. We are locally owned and one of the few, if not the only restaurant, in town & maybe anywhere, that provides health care for our employees. We have a diversified menu, offering vegetarian dishes, Our own idea of Mexican Food (No Lard in our beans) when possible, locally caught fish and shrimp, sandwiches, salads & upscale dinner specials at down home prices. We run our 200+ seat operation with one household double door freezer. We have the best margaritas (try our Shipwreck...) hand cut fries (voted #1 by the viewers of WCTV) and some say the best Burger for the buck in Tallahassee. We would like to mention that we have gluten free tortillas, and if wine is your thing, Bring in what you really would like to have and for nominal $6 bucks we will cork it. Please be aware that we get busy and when we do, it can get loud. If for any reason you aren't happy with either the service or the food please tell us. We are human, we make mistakes, and occasionally it happens. Thanks for taking the time to read this & thanks for supporting locally owned establishments. Mike Ferrara & Bobby Staerker.
I've eaten here a few times, both at lunch and for dinner. The food has consistently been delicious and service very good. I highly recommend you try the black beans and rice. I was surprised to find they are some of the best I've had. I never would have expected such quality food in this location. My second favorite dish is the Flounder Po'Boy. In fact, any of the seafood dishes I've tried, I've been extremely happy with. I believe the prices are extremely fair for the quality of food you receive.
