Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Dushanbe. Translating to "Monday" in Tajik, Dushanbe was once a tiny mountain village known for its Monday market. Today that village has become a metropolis, but the Barakat covered market remains one of the most vibrant attractions in the city. Dushanbe's wide, tree-lined avenues are home to a number of monuments and museums, including the Unified Museum and the Museum of Antiquities, as well as a beautiful opera theater and myriad cafes and teahouses where visitors can sample Tajik sweets.

Six of us went from work on Saturday night. We had the Filet Mignon, Beef Burritos, Chicken Burritos and Nachos supreme. Drinks included Margueritas, Red Wine, Beer and Fruit Juice. The restaurant is spacious and open. There are smaller private booths if you prefer. This place is good for large groups and children alike. Everybody really enjoyed the food, the waiters were timely and friendly and the background music was latin. We really enjoyed this place and will go again.
Where to eat Chinese food in Dushanbe: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Our office held an away-day planning meeting in the restaurant. The food was good (Tajik & Indian) and the conference room good for up to 10 people. The price was unbeatable for the quality - room rental free if they catered for coffee breaks and lunch. They also have a good catering service for off-site events.
A Flavor From Philly
These guys are working on building one of the best pizza places in town. Their specialty is stromboli (calzone-type folded pizzas). Apparently, their chef worked in the US and brought this exotic type of pizza here. Personally loved their vegetarian stromboli. They do deliver, and prices are great too!
Rather peculiar looking place with an interesting wooden interior, including small hanging benches instead of bar stools (very, very unhandy).Good for some drinks prior to going to a large club.
