This place is an old-fashioned Taiwanese steakhouse that has been there for years, serving the locals. If you are looking for a place that is fancy, then this is not the place. There are franchised restaurants that are more appealing to the public nowadays. Still, this kind of old-fashioned restaurants offer nice food and service with lower cost despite of the old and not-so-fancy outlook. The menu is simple with the choice of steaks in Sirloin, Filet mignon, T-bone, Short rib, etc. There are choices for chicken and pork, too.When you arrive, you are served with a glass of sweetened iced tea before you order. After ordering, you will see a bow of soup, a bowl of salad (cabbage based but not coleslaw), and a plate of rolls. The steak comes with noodles, little greens, and an egg (sunny side up) on a hot iron plate. You have a choice or mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce (or mix of them). The iced tea is refilled by the waiters frequently for free, and there is a free self-served ice cream corner with different flavors (inexpensive kinds, so don't expect too much).The price range is NTD180 to 300. The place offers live music on weekend evenings.
