The Emirate of Abu Dhabi (/ˌæbuː ˈdɑːbi/, /ˌɑː-/, or /-ˈdæ-/; Arabic: إمارة أبوظبي Imārat Abū Ẓaby, pronounced [ʔabuː ˈðˤɑbi]), is one of seven emirates that constitute the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
