Fukushima Prefecture (福島県, Fukushima-ken) is a prefecture of Japan located in the Tōhoku region. The capital is the city of Fukushima.
The Tōhoku region (東北地方, Tōhoku-chihō), Northeast region, or Northeast Japan consists of the northeastern portion of Honshu, the largest island of Japan. This traditional region consists of six prefectures (ken): Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi and Yamagata.
Inawashiro is a town located in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. As of September 2014, the town had an estimated population of 15,011, and a population density of 38 persons per km². The total area is 395.00 km².
