Fiumicino (Italian: [fjumiˈtʃiːno]) is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Rome, Lazio, central Italy, with a population of 77,870 (2015). It is famous for the presence of the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, the busiest airport in Italy and the sixth busiest in Europe.
The Province of Rome (Italian: Provincia di Roma) was one of the five provinces of Lazio, Italy. In 2015 it became the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital.
