Battipaglia (pronounced [ˌbattiˈpaʎʎa]) is a town and a comune in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of south-western Italy. With a population of 50,794 as of 2017, it is the third most populous town of its province, after Salerno and Cava de' Tirreni.
