Coatbridge (Scots: Cotbrig or Coatbrig, Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid a' Chòta) is a town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, about 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east of Glasgow city centre, set in the central Lowlands.
