Warm welcome at the restaurant. I went with an old person having difficulties in moving. Large choice of daily meals, good quality. For those enjoying ice cream, interesting selection. In summer the terrace should be very pleasant. A place to recommend.

I know I will regret this review because nobody knows this place, and I really enjoy this situation. You should really pay it some attention next time you are in Yverdon.Csarda is a typical small local restaurant. Nothing makes it stand out, the location is not really good, it is too close to a main road, but at least parking is usually easy.Even inside, you won't be impressed by the decoration. it really looks bland and uninteresting. But they have some of the best meat in the whole town and even further than that. They also make very decent pizza and some good pasta or cheese dishes, but the reason why you want to eat there is meat. They make all the known variations of meat fondue, chinese, bourguignonne, bressane, tatar hat, name it ! Most of them are offered on an "all you can eat" formula, but what makes it really interesting is the sheer quality of the meat. It is gorgeous. They also make excellent skinny fries (matchstick size) with their meat which I always appreciate. The service is very friendly and the prices are fair. So, like I said, I know I will regret shedding some light on this little unknown gem, but go ahead ! try it, if you enjoy meat you will love the place.

Restaurant packed.Luckily we reserved.Staff was efficient and friendly...We ordered their "filet de perche" frs 29...and +frs 8 if one wanted an extra serving...however the regular portion was more than sufficient !Quality wise they were excellent, served with a salade and fries...All in all a pleasent experience, would reccommend !

This is a strange place where staff is friendly but food is definitely not the main focus... not sure they have something homemade ... Meat on a hot plate is not really cooking and therefore you expect the fries and especially the sauce to be homemade.... answer is no... everything is industrial... the only homemade sauce (garlic) was over burned and too salty... So many real restaurants around, donât waste your time and money !

Very pleasant location directly on the lakeside looking over the marina. Very friendly and attentive waitress. It's a pity that the cuisine is just not what it used to be since the restaurant changed ownership. Salad with insipid sauce. Perch fillets under-cooked, french fries over-cooked! Just a good place to have a drink on the terrace.

We went here following a business meeting, with our local host. The service was excellent throughout (helps to have a native speaker). The menu is great with some lovely fish and meat dishes (especially steaks). I had the lamb and it was superb! The wine list is very good too. The absinthe dessert was pretty special and kept me warm on the cold and wet trip back to my hotel. Definitely worth a try.

We came to discover this place and ordered the daily menu, it was ok but nothing really special...If you're in the area, why not otherwise not worth the visit. The service is very particular limit unfriendly...

We have been there twice, always happy with the food and the service we received. Meat quality was excellent, and the foie gras with caramel sauce was absolutely divine. One of the best restos we have tried. Service is good, the place is very clean, highly recommended.

On the docks of Grandson. A very good restaurant that has been recognized by the Gault Millau guide. It's a bit gastronomic so the prices are above the average. Our plates were very good and we will visit them again. And the fact that you're on the lake just adds value to it. As you can then digest walking on the docks. The decoration is very eclectic with a big black horse in the middle of the room. To be viewed.

Le Pecos a Grandson - Un restaurant au bord du Lac de Neuchatel pour profiter des beaux jours. Temporairement ferme pendant l'hiver. Reouverture des le printemps!
We went there on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. We were lucky to find an empty table at Sunday lunch-time on the terrasse where we had a nice view on the neighbouring park and the lake whilst being well protected from the sun under a large parasol. I had a mixed salad, perch filet and french fries (home-made and served twice if you are still hungry!) and my wife had beef filet with the same side dishes and we were both very content. The service was friendly and efficient in spite of the fact that it was very busy and the prices are very reasonable for such quality.
