My husband and I had landed in como hours prior to searching for a dinner spot, and this hidden gem caught our eye as we strolled the streets of Como. The ambiance is modern, yet still authentic. The servers were extremely kind and observative, but not pushy or overly involved (the perfect balance!) One of our servers, Federica, helped me navigate the menu (especially thankful for that as I am gluten free). She helped me pick something outside of my comfort zone, yet one of the best dishes I have had in a long time, the Bbq octopus! There was red wine, chefs specials and great burrata / starters that were savored leading up to it. So happy to have kicked off our Italy trip with this amazing dining experience!

Even though this restaurant is not located along the beautiful lake nor do you have a view to it, it is still worth enjoying lunch or dinner there because of its atmosphere and panorama from the terrace. The menu offers plenty of delicious pizzas and changes frequently for specials. For me most important is the kids friendly surrounding especially for lunch but you are still welcome for dinner. Inside it is also very cozy and modern. Waiting time is good and since we go there every time being in the area, we never made a bad experience.

Read mixed reviews but decided the good outweighed the average. So glad we went! After a stroll lakeside and a look at lots of menus we liked the relaxed look of the place. We arrived at 6 pm and were offered a short menu or to wait till 7 pm for the longer dinner menu. We waited till 7 pm enjoying a couple of drinks till then, which came with great appetisers. Local white wine was superb, so good we had 2 carafes! We ordered a starter of gnoccho with Parma ham, then a Milanese and a contrefilet. Both were great, came with a portion each of griilled veg and potatoes. Staff were completely charming. My rusty Italian wasn't required as they went confidently into English. A jazz trio arrived to complete the atmosphere and we were sorry to leave. We loved it. 70 euros for two with copious drinks was value for money.

We visited the restaurant based in the trip advisor and Google reviews. The food scores reflect reality. The food was good and the prices reasonable. The personnel were very polite. There is an extensive list of salads (50) and of healthy Buddha Bowls.Due to not having a lot of space, there is an outdoor window house in order to accommodate more customers.Paid 45 euro for 2 pasta, 1 salad, soft drinks and water, which was reasonable.

Fresh pasta cooked the proper Italian Way.Donât get ripped off for crappy food at the other tourist traps. This is a short walk away from the cathedral, and worth every step. The bolognese sauce is divine, and the pesto is some of the best Iâve ever had.TripAdvisor to the rescue yet again!

After walking out of another restaurant because of very poor treatment, we went to Trattoria del Glicine not knowing what to expect. It went beyond expectation! Service was friendly and the food was FANTASTIC! The rabbit was one of the best dishes I have ever had. An amazing experience! Highly recommended
