This restaurant is very well run. It has also simple rooms. It could be used as a base camp to go and explore the region.

Hidden in a solitary corner at the border between Italy and Switzerland lays a small valley. Known only to a handful of passionate cross-country skiers. And right in the middle of the valley is Walser Schtuba, traditional architecture and local ingredients combined with an excellent chef and welcoming rooms.

Restaurant with the best specialties 'of Italian cuisine, typical dishes of the mountain, many specialties' VEGAN, vegetarian and pizza non-stop (from 11 to 22). Dining rooms cozy, warm and with the atmosphere of a traditional mountain chalet. Terrace res
Been there in the middle of the autumn, was one of the prettiest places in Switzerland that I've seen. They have a lot of vegetarian, vegan food as well as typical Swiss cuisine. The design and view from the restaurant is also stunning, full of little small details. You can see and feel the care of owners.

We ate here the night after eating at the Restaurant Baschi, which was, perhaps, not fair to the Diana because Baschi is easily a five star restaurant. Diana is also located on the Furkastrasse (the main road through the Goms region) and was only a short drive from our hotel, so we thought we'd give it a try.The waiter was young and uninterested in serving us. The food was fine, but lacked any sort of imagination. The ambience is also rather uninteresting...a restaurant that hasn't figured out who its audience is.

Today I took a day trip from Lucerne, Switzerland, around the Grimsel-, Nufenen- and Gotthard Pass with one of my family members. It was about noon time when we passed through the Bedretto Valley. We decided to look for a restaurant to have lunch at. By mere happenstance we stumbled across the Locanda Orelli. I drove right by it, but my dad noticed the Locanda sign and made me turn around (...he is very good at spotting interesting eateries). Anyway, we received a very friendly welcome not in Swiss German, but Italian, the language spoken in this part of Switzerland, which made the reception even more genuine and not so touristically oriented. The inside is a very tastefully decorated small dining room where the colors of brown, red and white prevail and create a comfy atmosphere. We were totally blown away by the menu de jour and everything else we found on the menu and wine list. It's better not to disclose the delicacies in case you want it to be a surprise.

Last restaurant before you reach the old delapidate hotel at the bottom Of the Furka And Grimsel pass Valais side. Very busy and the staff managed to remain plaisant, the menu du jour Frs.24.50 was excellent value.

I came to Oberwald for a cycling holiday with two friends and quickly found that in the summer restaurants in Oberwald are limited and a little dated and expensive. However this restaurant opposite our hotel is modern , the food was charming mix of traditional and contemporary with the best prices in town and very delicious food. The food all arrived quickly , hot, delicious. The restaurant is run by a young lady that at first glance I presumed to be in her late teens but quickly found she was older than this and actually owned the restaurant. She and her staff are very efficient, attentive and discreet all at the same time. Be warned, this restaurant was full up every night so book the night before or miss out. Over 4 nights we only managed to get in twice. A great find and hope this restaurant does wellHello mikkyfab1Thank you for sharing your Feedback regarding your stay in our Restaurant. We were pleased to read you liked the food and that you were satisfied with everything. We would be pleased to welcome you again in the future (maybe for a "Raclette" :-) )Best regards,Angela & Al Ponte-Team
