When most people think of Zermatt, they think of one thing: The Matterhorn. This ultimate Swiss icon looms over Zermatt, first drawing visitors here in the 1860s. The village of Zermatt itself is lovely and car-free, with old-fashioned brown chalets and winding alleys. (Don’t worry, you don’t have to walk everywhere—there are electric vehicles and horse-drawn cabs.) Skiing in the region often lasts through early summer, but when the weather’s warmer, it’s a great time to hike.

We had a very good dinner here on our first night in Zermatt. The portions were decent-sized, and I enjoyed both my onion soup and my raviolis, while my wife and daughter both enjoyed their pizzas. We had Doris waiting on us, and she was wonderful! She got us a table outdoors in front of the square when they thought that they couldn't fit us in. Very nice! We thoroughly enjoyed this place, but I would recommend a reservation if you know in advance that you want to dine there.

Our cuisine distinguishes itself by its use of high quality seasonal products. Our chef and host, Andreas Frank, uses game, fish, seafood and prime vegetables, to create a light and hearty cuisine, sealed with authentic flavours.
Loved it - it was our best meal in Zermatt this timeWe had the lobster menu and we found it:+balanced+creative, able to create different things with the lobster, from a tartar to a consome+the lobster was really star of the dishesMuch better than Omnia

My GF and I visited this restaurant on 11 June 2017 for dinner. The setting was impeccable - very exquisite decor and grand ambiance. Our dinner comprised cold and warm appetizers (buffet-style garden fresh salads, ham, sausage and bacon, and various kinds of cheese, etc.), white wine soup, suckling pork knuckles, and tiramisu/sorbet. All were to our liking and served by very attentive waiters and waitresses. We felt we were treated like royalty.Dear guest WyselyThank you for your visit and for the great review. We are happy you enjoyed your evening in our restaurant and were satisfies by our food and services. We would be happy to welcome you back and spoil you again.Kind regards from sunny ZermattYour Parkhotel Beau Site Team
