If you are travelling in the area itâs really worth the detour! The Osteria is located in the middle of the village on the main square with plenty of parking spaces around. The terrace is beautiful! Food is very fresh and mostly local and simply delicious. We had fish as well, ask for âcarpioneâ, a local fish summer special. And donât miss the âpatatineâ ... these potatoes are fantastic and the taste is outstanding. Very good local and italian wine selection. Service was extremely friendly and professional, had a great time there!

Service appalling tonight! Felt like being there was an inconvenience to the staff. We were kept waiting upon entering restaurant with two staff behind bar "busy" to even say hello, slamming of glasses on our table, another wait to order food, and had to get up to remind them of our coffee order......wish we'd gone somewhere else!! Valletta your food is good but this service is far from it!!Dear Sir/MadameI am terribly sorry to read your dissatisfaction regarding our service quality. We will do our best to improve it consistently and avoid that experiences like yours will not happen again. What I can assure you is that such attitude and inefficiency is not our standard. Best regards,Francesco Coldesina

100% swiss craft beer bar & local cousine restaurant Ideal for cheers with friends, informal dinners, business lunches and much more
For over a year Il Fermento has been my go-to pub during the weekend to enjoy tasty craft beers and especially their seasonal offers. The place is great during the summer given its nice view on the lake, but even during the winter they have a heated terrace where you can enjoy your drinks without freezing.Beers are very good (although I have had better I gotta be honest), but they have a wide choice, good-looking food (never had it yet though),and I like the complimentary peanuts which are very addictive.Staff is a hit-and-miss; sometimes really great and friendly, sometimes it takes ages to get your order. There is a big turnaround of staff in general.Overall this is the only bar I go to, since I rather spend a big more for something of quality whenever i go out and then this is your place.

Irish Pub Sorengo Kadime's 5Star Burgers Rainbow Food and Beverage is an idea from A big dream after a long experience in food and beverage management. This project is not born with the intent to gain but to make people happy by doing what we like . Irish
The hubby and I walked here for lunch today. Uphill, all the way, which is good, because we burned off the calories we consumed from the cheeseburger and fries we both indulged in. I am a burger purist, for the most part, so my simple cheeseburger hit the spot. They had fancy burgers, too. The Fries were delicious and come with the burger. Our sue er didnât appear to speak English, and we donât know Italian, so there were a few misunderstanding, such as when I questioned if fries came with the price of the burger, she thought I wanted extra fries, so I got a HUGE bowl, while my hubby got the moderate amount. I skipped the bun on my burger t enjoy the fries. This restaurant is in the university area, and probably is filled with college kids, but when we visited it was almost mid afternoon closing time, so no crosses, only a couple other tables were occupied. Worth the trek up the mountain to get there!Dear Randee Thank you so much for the beautiful review , much appreciated. Also we apologize for the language issues and the Exta French fries . We wish you an awesome stay to Lugano , hopefully see you again soon Irish Pub Sorengo
