We were recommended this hotel by a bespoke tour guide we used (Ultimate Drives) who put this down as one of our lunch stops during a 7 night driving tour. The views, quality of food, service and value for money were world class.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this in or out of season, the veal schnitzel I had was simply to die for.Enjoy

This is the place ! We took our children (10 and 11 year old) and had the most amazing dinner !! Fantastic atmosphere, unassailable ambiance and food to die for! We had beetroot and absinthe salmon for starters followed by the duo of venison with stunning local red wine and can very highly recommend this jewel of a chalet.... planning New Years 2019 there and will be booking ASAP ! The Sportzentrum Restaurant was conveniently located close to my hotel and decided to give it a try as the menu looked good. It is part of the sports complex with the cross-country trails also adjacent to the restaurant. When entering you go up to the second floor. I was met at the door, but it looked like others just took a seat and were helped so am not sure what the correct protocol is.The restaurant was fairly busy with one big party taking up one side of the floor. Otherwise I had personalized service from the waiter who was friendly and helpful. They primarily serve pizza, but do have a selection of traditional Swiss dishes. I tried one of the traditional pork selections, while good, was way overpriced for what you got and for the restaurant itself. The bread offered was regular wheat bread you use to make sandwiches which was disappointing. However the overall experience was good.Other than the overpriced food, the only other complaint was families allowing their kids to run around like it was a playground (and the adults making even more noise when the kids weren't around). You can't really blame the restaurant, but did bring down the experience. Than again the individuals in question were British and was a trend during my stay in Klosters.I would recommend the Sportzentrum Restaurant if you are looking for an informal restaurant to eat at with a decent selection to choose from. The staff was friendly and the food is good.

Early dinner visit. Only a few tables were occupied and yet waiting personnel were so inefficient & no attention was given to guestsâ needs. From the start to end, it was one mess after another - No explanation of menu, oder concept, mixed dish delivery (resulting in both over- and under-cooking w/ no apology), over-cooked and inedible veggies. Itâs been a long time since I encountered such mediocre food and service for over CHF200 for 2 persons. Thereâll be no next visit to Alte Post in Klosters, unfortunately.
