we came in here and loved the place the waiters where all really really nice and the food was great when we got the bill we got charged for 2 salads instead of one as it turned out I had one salad and went back to the buffet to take a little more cabbage and dressing they charged me for a full portion instead of telling me a second serving would be a whole new salad if I had known I could have made a choice there was a sign high up on the bar with small letters saying one serving only but you really had to look for it and the owner who was right there second time could have told me when she say I only took some small cabbage and dressing I tried to tell her in a friendly way but she was super rude to bad on a place like that with such friendly staff and good food

Simple and good food in a remote chalet. Swiss specialties with delicious local wines are served. I ate a mixed salad which had variety and taste. Great for a short hike in summer or winter.

Excellent food; incredible, friendly staff and a great environment. We enjoyed 2 dinners at this little pizzeria restaurant in Leukerbad. We introduced my brother and his wife to Rösti and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were great, personable and light-hearted - I think they enjoyed themselves as much as we did. This is a definite âdonât missâ if you are in Leukerbad.

Excellent swiss restaurant with traditional dishes, fine service and reasonable prices.
This is a popular restaurant and it is advisable to book advance. They serve many of the Swiss traditional favourites, with raclette and fondue being the most popular. The restaurant is cosy and warm and very welcoming. We had raclette which was really very good. The service was also very attentive and good. Highly recommended.

We were greeted warmly at the door by the owner and enjoyed a nice dinner with good service. The prices are fair and the pizzas are nice and crispy. This was our best dining experience in Leukerbad.

The menu is quite limited so we had a missed green salad which was very expensive as it had some sort of seeds in if. We had that main course of pasta with filet strips and that was good. So all in all a strong everage. Service was top notch. We will go back for sure

This is a charming restaurant about 3 km southwest of Leukerbad village by foot. We walked uphill through falling snow along a "Winterwandereg" to get here and it was well worth the effort. We only went for afternoon coffee and "nusstorte " but clearly most patrons made it an afternoon out for a full meal. The wine list was impressive! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with local Valais memorabilia and artwork. The prices are comparable to other venues, and menus in English are available. A great way to fill out an afternoon!

An excellent experience on all counts. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately, and were well taken care of throughout the evening. The pappardelle and rösti were among the best Iâve had anywhere in Switzerland. We were there for my wifeâs birthday, and the staff did an outstanding job making the occasion special.

Severin and Graziella were great in coordinating a meal for 14 via email. We were continuously a moving target in start time and menu, but they were always very accommodating. Due to the season, they only opened for parties greater than 10 for dinner. Lucky us!!As for the location, it's located up the mountain from the town of Leukerbad itself. The views are stunning when you get up there. A small wooden cabin which entertains skiers in the winter and hikers in the summer. Huge patio, but we ended up inside due to the weather. The cabin itself is very cozy, clean, and well-kept. On to the meal. Everyone agreed that this was one of the best (if not the best) meal they had on our 12-day Switzerland/France trip. The asparagus salad with mixed greens was fantastic. The salad dressing was very appropriate and added just enough flavor to not over-power the delicate asparagus. The soup was a curry shrimp soup. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and was very succulent. The curry was merely a hint that provided a nice accent, and did not overpower the dish. For the main, some of us had the beef entrecôte and others had fish. Both were excellent, and the portions were generous. For dessert, we had an apricot tart with some ice cream. Earlier in the day, I had mentioned to Severin that we were celebrating a couple's 30th wedding anniversary on the trip. This is where his attention to detail and thoughtfulness came through. On the couples' dessert plates, he simply inscribed the number 30. It wasn't over-the-top or over-done. Just the simple use of last minute information to demonstrate that he listened and it came through the his food.Overall, the best dinner in Switzerland. Well-balanced flavors that had me yearning for a return visit! Once again, thank you to Severin and Graziella for a great evening and memories to last a lifetime!
