New restaurant in the palazzo Mantegazzi. Interior is contemporary: Hi tech lifts, glass, transparent plastic chairs and white walls.Vitello tonnato was tasty and tender but the steak was a little bit overdone (surely not medium).I think it's a good place to have a lunch with bossiness part not a family dinner.Dear Serge G,thanks a lot for your beautiful review.We hope to see you soon in our Restaurant!

I had very good expirience with this establishment. Absolutely amaizing dinner with respect to food, its serving, service and overall atmosphere. Deliciouis food with impeccable souses, and fresh ingridiends. Portions were not too big not too small, just right. Good wine list and the wine itself was great. I would reccomend any one for an upscale dinner with not exessive spending. Well done!Dear friend,thank you very much for your review. Weâve been for dinner with friends as a friend told us. I had the better beef tartar if my life. Hand cut, very simply dressing.Then we had the stinco with polenta. The polenta tasted wonderfully.Too big portions, we couldnât eat all of it.Will come back for sure. Prices high as usual in Switzerland but fair for the quality of ingredients. Hope it remain there, to be able to try all the options. Decided to celebrate our birthday at Santabbondio. the place is just amazing and really exceptional. Both inside and outside the atmosphere is just sublime. The food is very creative, well presented and of great taste. The waiter was also fantastic, very knowledgeable and of great help with his advice. A memorable place to go and eat. Decent place for a dinner with very friendly service, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again. We had Antipasti Morchino, grilled rabbit and luganighetta sausage. Cheese and most of the cold cuts were very good and I also enjoyed their sausage. I wasn't impressed with the rabbit though. The meat wasn't as juicy and flavorful as I expected. Also, I doubt that our dishes were done on actual grill. At least, I didn't see it outside, but it may be different during warmer time of a year. Also, keep in mind that they have menu only in Italian, so may want to check their English menu online.Hi IhorM,Thanks for your review.I'm glad that you enjoyed our specialities.As for the rabbit, Iâve to mention thatâs usually not cooked on the grill in our area.We prepare it stewed served with its sauce and polenta.The meat of the rabbit is however a fairly dry meat without fat and therefore we prefer to prepare it stewed.The grill is located at the end on our summer terrace and from there all the grilled meats arrive, taken care of our âchefâ.Ours is a typical place where we want to maintain its âtypicalityâ by leaving the menu in our Italian language.For translations we have our website and the staff can explain the menu in English, French, German for those who do not speak Italian.Best regardsPierluigi Olgiati

This small restaurant, with just 1 waitress and delicious food, is definitely worth a stop on your visit to Lugano/Paradiso. We enjoyed a delicious and very reasonably priced meal here. This is a cosy restaurant with the feel of a country inn, there are a few tables in each room, so do call ahead for a reservation. We had the grilled lambchops and there were mouth wateringly delicious!!!!

I thought it was great!Food was simple yet typical and very good. Menu was surprising - in a good way! ;)Loved the team, professional and welcoming. I felt at home...which is exactly what they aim for based on their interior, the ambiance, the fire burning in the chimney...They were present but not constantly waiting around the table, taking plates away and making you feel like you need to rush...super friendly!Such a relaxing experience even though it was a corporate dinner. Grotto style!Aiming to go back soon!
