Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem glutenfreien Restaurant aufgrund der Unverträglichkeit einer Freundin. Die Erwartungen wurden voll übertroffen und das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt!

they have a very nice terrace (they got a price for it in 2012, 2nd place for Sierre). there's enough parking spots, kitchen is open before 6.30pm, service is good and friendly, love to hear the crackling accent of italians gathering up there too. we eat only fresh and vegetarian food and have found it to be very tasty, each time of the year

In this new restaurant (2017), you will really be transported in Italy. The pizza are generous and awesome, and the service is really incredibly good. We tried many good pizzeria in Sierre but this one is certainly the best ! A must !

In the winter we ate at Salentina - in a somewhat large family group - and the food and service were excellent. Tonight, after a vernissage at the Maison de Courten across the street we decided to try it again, this time just two of us.We had a small green salad and both had pasta dishes. The food was OK but no more than that. Portions were huge... Not necessarily a good thing. Neither was well seasoned and when we asked for salt the waiter told us "we don't use salt". Well, we do... Not much but some! Waiter baulked at changing our knifes and forks after the salad. And then went outside to smoke right in the door opening which resulted in wafts of smoke coming over our table. When asked to move though he did so quickly. The whole ambiance was different from the time before and I don't think we would eat there again. The waiter did say they had a new menu, so maybe a new cook or new owner?

Although this restaurant is in a small shopping centre don't let this put you off. We received a warm welcome and were looked after admirably by the chef and his staff on two occasions. Offering a wide range of dishes from pizza to steaks and fish as well as local specialities this was a great find. The chef was so friendly on our second visit that we ended up with deserts on plates decorated with edible pictures along with each of our names! You won't be disappointed.

Someone recommended this place for their wood-fired pizzas so we went and ordered three of them, all rather bland (both the dough and the toppings), nothing really amiss but nothing exciting either, your typical Swiss pizza joint.Service was very nice and accommodating (Capri is a popular place for Sunday lunch), all in all, with a different expectation level, this would have been a perfectly suitable pizza lunch).
Le chalet is the perfect restaurant to savour at all hours our (deliciously) sacred recipes from switzerland and italy. the setting is rustic and modern, the atmosphere is convivial and familial, the team is attentive and passionate. a new "place to be" f
Went on August 1st, Swiss National day - the restaurant offered buffet only that eve. This restaurant lacks any form of ownership / unprofessional service, tasteless food, a buffet full of emotionless creations - cold cuts, cheese, servelats - anything one could find in any petrol station - bbq meat was undone, cold, - no sauces, no sides, no taste what so ever - Creme brule of a quality I have never ever seen in my life - we left 1hr after we arrived - lots of disappointed customers that evening - paid 230 CHF for something that didnât touch a single cook! Never again Dear guests, Many thanks for providing your feedback concerning the National Day buffet at the restaurant Le Chalet. We sincerely regret that you did not spend a nice evening and that you did not appreciate our offer on this special day. We actually proposed a buffet menu because it was a nice way to share our different country culinary specialities and to offer a second option to our gastronomic dinner at Le Restaurant. It seems that it were not a success to you and we just would have loved a second chance to let you discover our greedy swiss and italian cuisine...Anyway, we absolutely look forward to welcome you back to our property and present you our best regards.Charlotte, Jean-Marc & the whole team
