Our chef offers creative cuisine that showcases seasonal produce. As for the wine, it will allow you to see with delight that our region is full of treasures ...
We enjoyed a lunch in September at the Chez Ida restaurant which is part of the Grand Bella Tola hotel. We took the "Rehrücken" and it was gorgeous. This coupled with an excellent service and an incredibly atmosphere taking you back to the early 1900's. Highly recommended for a romantic stay! The only downside is the difficult mountain road to get there. It will take you at least 30' from Sierre and the road is extremely narrow. It's part of this unique experience.

We do go regularly to this restaurant whenever in Evolène - the service is very friendly, Veronique and her team welcomes us warmly and the food is excellent - the new chef has now taken his marks and offers the local delicacies (beef, lamb, cheese) with his touch. Worthy of note is also the very reasonable wine list with some good local producers. And in summer, a great terrace with a view on the Dent de Veisivi - do book ahead for a table there on week-ends.Dear Vittorio FMy team joins me in thanking you very much for your kind comment. We do our best to satisfy our kind customers.Looking forward to welcoming you back to our establishment.See you soon !

Quick service, standard buffet type fare, self-service, nice hot chocolate. Not the most stunning ski lunch ever but very welcome on the slopes after a cold morning's skiing.
The restaurant invites you to relax in a comfortable atmosphere. In cold days, a pleasant fire is lit in the fireplace. Our kitchen chef will be happy to serve you dishes with meat or delicious specialities from the Valais. In the evening, our famous barb

Easily reached on foot from Bendolla (or on skis) from the top of the Grands Plans chairlift, the Buvette de l'Ãtable du Marais offers a warm welcome in a restored former stable, full of authentic character. A member of the "Saveurs du Valais" association
Stunning views, even when viewed from inside through the big picture windows. Great service in nice surroundings. Wide ranging menu, from snacks and soups through to full meals. On one visit (Saturday) we were treated to live lunchtime jazz.I have skied widely across Europe, and this rates as one of my favourite mountain restaurants, hence the 5 stars!

Wooden floors, table and chairs darkened by the years of use testify to a long standing restaurant, full of hanging decors. Food is simple but traditional, we took the raclette and could see the chef standing in front of the wooden fire patiently serving us. Dried meat/cheese platter is a must to share as a starter.Spectacular list of spirits (needed to digest the cheese!). Staff very attentive and our group of ten was quickly attended.

Florioz. Bar apres ski, Grimentz, Switzerland. The man behind the bar at Florioz seemed to be loved by everyone. He had that winning way about him. A smile, a nod, handshake, embrace for everyone who came through the door . . . including two Kiwis with very little French. Claudio Florey, the host and owner of Chez Florioz Bar Apres Ski in Grimentz, Switzerland, is an exceptionally friendly, charming fellow. The bar is right at the foot of the main gondola lift to the Grimentz ski area and it is THE place that skiers and snowboarders stop off at for a beer and a glass of wine and hearty food before heading home. The establishment is ultra-welcoming with wonderful warm, woody, Swiss-chalet style ambiance. Claudio works long hours in the winter ski season when the population of Grimentz grows from 500 to 5000. In the summer he is a wood craftsman and makes furniture. He actually built the beautiful restaurant/bar himself which explains its woodiness. We enjoyed an excellent local beer and white wine at the bar and had an amusing French-English conversation with Claudio about alpinism and his love of the mountains. We did not eat there but have heard that the food is also excellent. Highly recommended.

so after travelling to spain, Italy, Germany and then to Switzerland. most travelers should know that apple to apple Switzerland will almost 40 percent more expensive than the other countries I mentioned (it will be the same if you compare a mcdonalds to McDonald or a café to café.Having said that.the restaurant is a small village restaurant with very good staff. the food is yum, fresh and served in a rustic style (the rosti came in a hot iron pan in which it was baked)should try a meal if you are there.
