Highly recommend this traditional alpine restaurant situated on the picturesque Grand Paradis. Choose a sunny day to enjoy sheltered outside eating with amazing views of Dents Blanches and Dents du Midi. Local charcuterie and fromage - try assiette de Lapisa - a generous selection of cheeses and cured meats - plenty for 2 people. Will be back on our next holiday.

Skin in and be comfortable. It is a nice place in Champery, during high season and on weekends you should have a reservation. The food is good, daily specials are available as well as the usual favorites in the Valais, as there are crute, fondue and the works. Nice salads, too.Service is very cordial and swift.

LâAlta is a great addition to the Rue du Village, combining a trendy decor with friendly service and delicious pizzas and selection of wines. It is now one of our favourites winter and summer and is also a lovely place to drop into for just an aperitif if you arenât dining. The views of the Dents du Midi are magnificent

My husband had a typical "croute au fromage" and he said it was delicious. My "penne gratin" lacked a little flavour, when compared to another restaurant we tried in the region. But the reception was great, as well as the little salad that they offered in the beginning, to prepare our service. Wine list is a little bit short and expensive. The view outside the restaurant is beautiful, as you see Champéry in front of you.

The Vieux-Chalet is an Alp-chic Steakhouse specialized in wood-fire grill or barbecue on the terrace with for example prime ribs, lamb chops, Chateaubriand etc. This old traditional Chalet offers a wooden decor for a warm and friendly atmosphere between t
What a delightful restaurant with amazing food and beautiful mountain views! The menu is wide ranging accommodating multiple dietary requirements. The food was excellent, full of flavour and was presented beautifully. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had an excellent experience and cannot recommend it enough. Will definitely be back.

This place is a must if you visit Champéry. It's not cheap, but the quality and presentation are first rate. We went for Valentineâs Day and were very impressed. The challenge will be to provide this high standard of quality and service at a price that can be maintained on a consistent basis. There were two set menus, both basically the same with one offering an additional starter and cheese plate. The portions were just right and well prepared. We will definitely go back.Thank you very much for your message. We hope to see you next time. Best regards Amandine et Antoine

Full service balcony restaurant with very good food-better than many ski-slope eateries- in a fantastic location. Slightly grumpy head waiter but efficient. Interesting wine flights-all Swiss, but 3 big glasses per person;and then you ski home!Swiss version of Tartiflette is very good as is Duck 5 ways.

Le restaurant sera fermé pour les vacances jusqu'au 5 Décembre. Nous serons ravis de vous accueillir á partir du 6 décembre á midi.
We did not have any of the cheese menu's but people around us did and it looked and smelled all great. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We really loved the Swiss wine, which was a Spatburgunder. The waitress delivered a fantastic service.

Best steaks ever.. Served on a hot stone so that you have it exactly as you like it.. And the Belgian fries, just magnificent.. Really warm welcome from the lovely Daphné.Huge selection of gin perfectly served with accompanying wealth of knowledge about the flavours and tastes. The decor is authentic old chalet style with little great little touches like the cow hide bar stools, the real fire, the smoke from the cooking at the tables, great ambiance.I can't wait to go back during the ski season.

Tradition restaurant, same direction for more than 30 years. Bistro just renoved, nice building built in 1906. Quiet and shady terrace. Season food, proximity. Fine choice of suppliers. Young and dynamic staff. Asparagus of Saxon, Vouillamoz family, Straw
Conveniently located across St-Maurice train station, Café de la Gare is the perfect location to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I had lunch in the Salle à Manger room which boasts a cozy and traditional charm.A huge thumbs-up to the owner - Mrs Lafarge - for the smiling and efficient service during the whole lunch. As I visited late November it was probably the last opportunity to enjoy venison dishes this year. As starter I chose the homemade venison terrine, which was very nicely presented and proved very tasty. The main course was ââCivet de cerfââ - venison stew served with all the trimmings: red cabbage, 1/2 pear, spätzli. Once again tasty and generous portion. As dessert I enjoyed the « Salée » - a tart specialty from the nearby Val dâIlliez. In high-price Switzerland the bill was surprisingly moderate. Amounting to CHF72 it definitely offers excellent value for money. An address to keep among my favorites!Thank you very much for your message, I enjoy so much to satisfy my guestsSee you soon
