We went there for a romantic dinner. The restaurant offers a good variety of fresh local food for quite some reasonable prices especially in the area of Davos.The dishes where great, very well prepared with different vegetables. The wine selection is very good and there are enough smaller bottles available as well, which is important if you have to drive afterwards.The service was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was a great experience and we will certainly visit the restaurant again. As the restaurant is quite small a reservation for dinner is very much recommended.

We spent an afternoon having lunch and playing cards at this cute establishment. The food was good, the service, with one exception, rather poor (inattentive - had to keep reminding them for every order). All this was however not able to dampen our mood, we paid (400 Chf for 5 people) and left a handsome tip. On our way out, we asked if we could have a Glühwein on the house for our 10 min walk back to our car. We did receive our beverages, however with a price tag of around 8 Chf a pop (more than in downtown Zurich at the Christmas market). When we asked if there had been some confusion about the drinks being offered, the manager made a scene and stated that he doesn't believe in giving anything for free, and besides he had also never gotten anything from his guests. We reminded him that we had just left a tip, but in his anger and rudeness he was not receptive to rational debate, so we left it at that. Shame because the place has a lot of potential.

Walserhuus has become almost our family restaurant: we have celebrated there everything - from wedding to birthdays and Silvester. Biäsch family are very friendly and nice people. Kitchen is always great, especially meat fondue with stag. The atmosphere is what you imagine when you think about traditional Switzerland. You can also combine the dinner at Walserhuus with a horse carriage ride into the Sertig valley. In 2017 the hotel underwent a renovation and there is a great new wine cellar with a bar available. My family and I have been regulars at Extrablatt for many years. The restaurant rocks a vintage Atmosphere and offers a wide range of fantastic food. I have never experienced bad service at Extrablatt, in fact staff are always friendly as well as fast. You canât go wrong by starting off with their homemade beef tatar before moving on to the famous Cordon Bleu. Will definitely return soon.

Every time we come to the Alpenhof Restaurant in Davos Chef Roberto amazes us with his culinary skills and super friendly Italian charm. Todayâs Sea Bass, prepared (baked) over sea salt, was just amazing, my tastebuds could not get enough of all the delicious flavors. Just so happy we found this wonderful restaurant in 2016 and that we are able to come back as often as possible - weâll be back for dinner again before heading back to Zurich. PS: no meal would be complete without a glass of Robertoâs Limoncello and/or Grappa (made in southern Italy by his brother).

warm and helpfull staff (although a bit lower)the vitello tonnato was generous, althugh the sauce could be missing some anchovies to improve its taste. the pot au feu was great. average price for switzerland, but good for davos.

We pitched up here without a booking and just before closing but the owner welcomed us and re-arranged things for our meal so we all sat together. The staff were attentive but not in the way and they were very friendly throughout, our hotel could learn from them. The food was absolutely superb, beautifully cooked and presented, high quality and the presentation was excellent as well.
