We , a party of 8 visited it on Aug 15 .They had a cheep lunch for 15 zloty , which I had , which was quite average and below but ... go for the huge cheese burger for just 19 zloty !It was very good. They may use a bit more fat for the juices but still : fresh beef meat probably about 350 gr, lettuce, cheese etc.. we had 5 of them!!!

We stopped by chance for lunch on June 25 2018. The food was freshly made, delicious. Two of us had Swietokrzyski Placek Ziemniaczany z gulaszem (Potato pancakes with gulasz), one Pierogi Ruskie and one Zeberka. Potato pancakes were freshly made, zeberka tender and falling off the bone, pierogi with delicate dough. We highly recommend this place.

Nicely surprised with the quality of the food. Very tasty and fresh. Unfortunately some of the items on the menu were not available or it would take much longer to prepare that we would like to wait for. Pierogies are very very good. Cod in batter herbal fresh and tasty, the ribs stewed in honey-mustard souse are soft and tasty and the pork loin stuffed with prunes in lemon sauce was just excellent. Very friendly staff and they do accept credit cards. I would definitely recommend this establishment for good, fresh and inexpensive food.

Basztowa Restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate important events and family celebrations. Restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, a wide range of dishes and delicious desserts. You can enjoy the atmosphere of a stylish, air-conditioning restaurant sea
Clean hotel and restaurant in a lovely part of Sandomier historical center. Basic rooms but clean and well located. BUT seeing its been open over ten years it is still a bit dated in its approach. Restaurant menu is a bit tired and lacks finesse, breakfast is very basic. No real bar area, just a few tables and chairs. Staff seem a bit shocked if you ask for a drink. Could be so much better.Needs refreshing and bringing up to modern hotel approaches. Its a bit clinical and would benefit with a more relaxed and warm approach.

In a place like Sandomierz you don't have much to chose from. Not too many restaurants are out there. We came realtively late and it was the only one open.Food and service were way above average. If you're in town seeking a place for lunch/dinner, you should definitely eat here.

The mansion restaurant features Old Polish and regional cuisine. The exquisite dishes of Sarmathian cuisine perfectly harmonise with the history of the mansion hotel, dating back to the middle of the 19th century. The air-conditioned âRastauracja Sarmacka
It's the hotel&the restaurant in the same place. We went there because it looks lovely but it's the only positive thing I can tell about the restaurant. It wasn't the worst but it's just nothing special. To be honest, we spent 3 days in Sandomierz and we didn't find even one good restaurant there! What's wrong with you Sandomierz? Such a lovely city, wine and not even one good restaurant... OK about this one... Waiter didn't care about anything, was not helpful at all and also very slow. Menu is really small, it was hard to choose something, especially that I'm vegetarian. But I ate dumplings, it was ok but that's the only thing I can say about it. I can't even remember well what my boyfriend ordered... nothing special, I would definitely not come back there! The only good thing abut the place is that they have polish wine in the menu!

"Widnokrag" from which we took the name of our place, is a novel by WiesÅaw Mysliwski - one of the most important books in Polish literature not only in recent decades. The author, with life and feelings strongly associated with Sandomierz, put the action
Fantastic venue, great adaptation of the old building, very good atmosphere.Menu is not extensive but everything we picked from it was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was just right, attentive but not over the top. Prices were good value for the experience. We went back on our second evening in Sandomierz.Dear Paul,We are extremely happy, because of Your fantastic review.Thank You very much for chose our Restaurant for experience and with great joy we are looking forward for Your next visit in Sandomierz.Marek Staniak,Manager of Service in "WidnokrÄ g" Restaurant

Nice caffe between main and small square in Sandomierz. You can find here good cafe, nice homemade cakes and crapes. It's self service cafe so you must order at shoulder.I was here only for fast espresso but it was great. Next time I must order homemade cake or crapes. They're looking fantastic.

Truly a hidden gem! Donât miss out on this lovely restaurant. We enjoyed their duck starters (so delicious!), but also the pasta dishes and the pork tenderloin. Try the Polish wine (the white one is better than the red), or order their decent house wine (needs to be a tiny bit colder). Busy place, but worth the visit! Very reasonably priced.
