Looks a bit rough and ready outside and inside - not helped by the house staff that seemed a bit bored- the main courses were tasty. The salad buffet could do with a little help. Overall though, the food wasnt bad - and adequate to our needs

Arriving in town late to discover that the hotel restaurant was closed for a private function the receptionist recommended Afrodite, though I think it was probably also the only place open. Anyway, inside itâs a standard Greek restaurant but with a more international menu. We had lovely steaks, beef and reindeer, which were served on hot platters with mashed potato garnish. All very tasty and plenty of it. Reasonably priced, for northern Sweden, but the service was slow and distracted. Still worth a go as the food was good.

Ok food. Not the best. I ended up ordering løvbiff og stekt potet.and the wife orded kylling me grønsaker å ris. The food came out fast. Maybe to fast? Løvbiffen tasted ok. The wife was satisfied with here food. Cheap. But maybe the staff should think and do more service.and not just stand there and do nothing.

We stumbled upon this place trying to find somewhere reasonably priced to eat in Lulea. It's tucked away in a courtyard which is nice and quiet with lots of seating outside that gets sun shining on it in the summer evenings. You order and pay at the bar before you start - rustic but makes things simple and straightforward. We had a little wait for our pizza (which we didn't mind at all) but the waitress was really kind and gracious and offered us free pudding to make up for it - which was beyond the call of duty and really appreciated.

Dropped in for dinner with family. Quickly served, friendly and professional staff.A really hot day outside, +28 celcius, the restaurant does not have a/c and it was stifling inside. The food was worth it, great pasta and pizza. Pasta cooked al dente to perfection. Thin and crisp pizza Italian style. Go, eat, enjoy. With a/c this would have been five out of five :-)

At lunch time the pizzeria is practically empty. Only one other customer watching something on his mobile on loudspeaker...Ordered oven pasta with seafood. The portion was plentiful, could not finish it. Taste was mild, not bad, not great. Price was right.

Visited Arvid's Steakhouse with my wife and 6 other friends. It was great from the starting drinks, starters, main course and dessert. The personnel were fast, polite and with a good sense of humour. We will come back again next time in Kalix.
