I went again to Deer Park Inn last night with four friends for some wonderful French food. It's the fifth time I've been there this summer. It was a pleasant evening for dining outside on the porch of the old "cottage." On Wednesday and Thursday evenings they have a fixed price menu of crepes for appetizers, main dish, and dessert. I had a crepe with melted cheese and a few cubed vegetables, a curried seafood crepe, and crepe suzette. They were all delicious. As each new dish arrived, my friends kept saying how wonderful everything tasted. We are fortunate to have such a fine restaurant. It will be 19 years old next week.

Stopped for a treat during a visit to Deep Creek Lake and we were pleased that we did not miss the opportunity to taste chocolate ice cream at its best - yum!!!

Loved our first visit to the Mountain State Brewing Co. The ambiance was casual and family-friendly to a degree, it is after all a brewing company. The table beside us included several school-aged kids and they seem to do well at accommodating large tables. i enjoyed being presented with a shelf of different games upon arrival and getting to select one to carry back to our table. The menu is very focused on the pizzas. It worked for us but my son was craving a burger and did not find one. No problem! The pizza was GREAT! Loved it! Super thin, and melts in your mouth, though not exactly what I kind of flat-bread pizza I have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely go back next time we visit the DCL area.

We had eaten here once before and the food was great. This particular trip we called in a pizza to bring home with us...it was fantastic! This place is definitely worth stopping & grabbing a bite of good food.

This is a perfect place to grab coffee and breakfast. It is so warm and inviting with comfy chairs, inviting couches, and standard tables. You can grab and go or enjoy at the cafe.

The Fireside Deli & Wine Shop was a nice discovery on a recent trip to Deep Creek Lake.Though looking just for a place to buy beer I liked the outside look of the building and though on the smallish size I liked the informal outdoor seating area.Walking inside I was surprised to find a combination wine cellar/bistro/deli that had a warm coziness to it.There were people having wine and cheese, others with wine and sandwiches.all in a neat little atmosphere.
The Fireside specializes in wine selection, has a full deli.cheeses, but has a very limited selection of beers.Unfortunately their beer prices are extremely high by the 6pk so this is not the place to buy beer.We have this place marked as a visit for lunch or a light dinner the next time we are in the area.Other than July and August they have limlited hours so I would call ahead.

Fresh and Hot made to order donuts and brewed coffee. Watch your donuts get made from scratch.
For many years, we have enjoyed Deep Creek Lake as a Western Maryland Mountain Playground.
We select and enjoy chocolate donuts from Deep Creek Donuts, which provides a picnic area with great views of Deep Creek Lake.
The day is sunny and the views of fall foliage and lake are stunning.
We recommend.

We visit this town often to go riding and always visit the Coal Bucket while there. They have great breakfasts, as well as lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable. They also sell ice and basic supplies- paper towels, food, bread, shampoo, etc. The restaurant has a lot of local history in it- pictures and articles, which is very interesting to see. They also have lots of holiday decor for sale upstairs!

The mouth watering smell of smoked meat hits you as soon as you open the door! Everyone was extremely friendly. We opted for carryout, but enjoyed the atmosphere as we waited (short wait!). We are from out of town and will definitely go back!! Excellent food! Highly recommend!!

We chose this restaurant for our last dinner before going back home, on the recommendation of our innkeeper at Lake Pointe Inn.We were not disappointed.
Prices here are expensive. However, everything is first rate. You are paying for prime cuts of beef and fresh food.
I had a NY strip that was excellent. My wife had the crab cakes. Now, we have had Maryland crabcakes all over the state, and we know that most everywhere has great ones. But we were very surprised to have had the best we have ever had in a restaurant so far from the sea! well worth the price you pay.
