Very friendly Staff. Unbelievably fast service ( maybe because we were at early sitting and only two tables filled at that time). Food was sensational AND served on hot plates and even the individual personal bowls were heated! BYO only but bottle shop adjacent. Very attentive staff even though busy with phone take away orders. Highly recommended!
They have an array of food already cooked for those in a hurry or you can order something to be cooked fresh. I love Asian food - you can taste the freshness. I ordered the Singapore noodles with mixed meat and an extra order of Char Sui pork. I was happy to pay extra for the pork as it is not standard with the dish. I also requested it be cooked hot. They were quick and the staff were extremely helpful with the condiments. Unfortunately, the bench is not wide enough to hold the tray they give you while you try and pay for the food so that was awkward and you could tell it was not the first time this had been a challenge. When I got the meal there was no pork so that was disappointing. The freshness of the ingredients was lovely. It was also not hot, (as in not enough chilli for my liking) but I do understand that some Asian stores are reluctant to make food hot. They had some lovely fresh chilli that I was able to use to help out. Lovely. I didn't rate it as excellent because I had paid for and not received the pork.
Traditional Filipino cuisine Street BBQ every Wednesday Friday Saturday and Sunday Exciting Original Filipino menu
An interesting restaurant in Midland, Pinoy Fiesta is not much to look at â fairly sparse and barren décor, but certainly friendly owners and the food â Filipino style â is definitely value for money. One main is more than enough for two and the prices reinforce the value. We dropped by for lunch a few days ago; it wasnât that busy but as the lunch hour wore on more people dropped in. The menu has a few starters and as we at that stage didnât know how big the mains were kicked off with a couple of spring rolls â pork and vegetable â and a couple of jalapenos, stuffed with a little cheese and fried in spring roll wrappers. Both were fine, the former moist and well-seasoned; the latter with a bit of chilli kick. For our mains â and we were warned that one was enough for both â the Pritong Tilapia seemed the go â this was served on a platter as a small whole fried fish, ensalada â in this case chopped raw green mango â a bowl of sour prawn and fish soup, fried banana, and soy and vinegar dipping sauce. We ordered a bowl of steamed rice as well â probably didnât need it, but is helped to mop up some of the food. The fish looked a touch overcooked but it wasnât, just the spices had browned it up; it was moist, tender, fell off the bone. I liked this. The soup had a pleasant chilli and tamarind bite, both spicy and sour, with a well-cooked prawn and a few bits of fish swimming around in the liquid. It was very good.Green mango and fried banana added some crunch and texture and the accompanying dipping sauce salty sharp flavours. We couldnât help but notice other diners with one main easily satisfying two people at lunch â it is really good value. The food is a little different from other Asian cuisines, it was nicely cooked, and we enjoyed it. Not licenced but you can BYO and, if you are that way inclined, karaoke is available. Thankfully we didnât have any wine with us and got out without Lady FWO bursting into song!

On a quiet mid week early evening we had to wait and wait for any food. Starters - spring rolls and dumplings were freshly cooked but nothing special, neither was the dish of chicken noodles. The speciality slow cooked beef brisket was very good but tiny portion. My order of orange chicken came highly battered and sweet but the grandchildren loved them as they thought they were chicken nuggets. Not worth a special trip.
At Lai's Sushi & Noodles, we pride ourselves on choosing the freshest produce available to serve you the best in Asian cuisine.
Fantastic service and friendly faces great you as you walk in the door. I have always loved their Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup with a lovely egg drop throughout. I often pair this with a serving of fried vegetarian spring rolls which come with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. If I am a little hungrier I will always get the steamed dim sims (or as we refer to them in the office as "brains" as they do look a little like brains). Always generous portions and even our person in the office with hollow legs can usually get 2 meals out of the Kwai Teo box they usually buy.Working in Midland we (office girls) usually visit once a fortnight as we always know it is going to be a tasty treat.

Easy to park. Service efficient and quick. Waitresses pleasant and polite.Alcohol prices reasonable and choice adequate.Chicken parmigiana as good as you get, salad tasty and fresh. The cafe would have scored higher if the steak sandwich was even average. There is nothing worse than a gristly piece of steak with a thick layer of fat on one side . Most people would pay an extra dollar if they did not throw away 25% of the "meat".DON'T ORDER STEAK SANDWICH

Located in the Midland Gate Shopping Centre, this is my second visit in 4 years and the food is still as good as I remember it when I was first there. I had lunch there both times and on both occasions the restaurant was busy but not crowded. The bento sets are good value and the portion size is very generous. The service is friendly and efficient and the patrons all seem to be familiar with the staff, which speaks to the good reputation they have. Will certainly return to eat when I'm next in Perth.

We have eaten here many times and always find the service excellent. The food is always good. It's less spicy than I would like but excellent for people not used to really hot food. You can always add chili. BYO and very reasonable prices. Recommended.
