What an incredible place! REAL Italian cuisine in a quiet neighborhood in Paramaribo.I ordered penne pasta in a spicy bacon Marinara Sauce...it was AMAZING!! It was perfect in taste and portion size. My wife had the penne pasta with the Chicken Alfredo Sauce...I enjoyed IT as well! (I can't remember the actual names as they were Italian). We finished our meal with some real handmade Italian gelato. (I recommend the Rum Raisin!!) It was a first class experience; and when I'm back in Paramaribo, I'm going to pay them another visit! Amazing!I am glad you enjoy the food
CY Coffee is open for a good breakfast, lunch & dinner. Good steaks, salads & desserts. We found the pastas less. Chillers & cocktails zijn warm aan te bevelen.
A local restaurant near the downtown of Paramaribo where you can enjoy a cuisine that variate from Asian style Noodle to Pasta.
We ordered only a couple of small dishes for dinner because it was late, but quickly noticed that the service was slow though very friendly. We ordered 2 chicken dishes and waited for the noodles forever that we finally had to ask them if they had forgot the noodles. One chicken dish was way too sweet, and the other was a bit dry. They, however, were not that bad. Thai noodle was very good. This restaurant was very convenient for us because we had rented an apartment right behind the restaurant. This certainly was not the best restaurant in Paramaribo, but I would say you may be able to find something you like here.
Inside Wine and Dine stylish entourage. Outside more casual atmosphere. Nice restaurant for a family diner. Great for romantic quiet dating. Also if you would like to dine out with business partners or prospects. Reservations advised when in party of 4+ s
The main restaurant on the Waterkant was too crowded, so I asked a taxi driver to take me somewhere else, on his recommendation. He picked Le Chique and hereâs how it went down.Really cool spot, away from the center of things. Indoor, but the front of the restaurant was completely open, so you feel like your outside. Not âfancy,â but pretty closeâ¦really clean with nice tables and linens. The service was really good and my waitress was very attentive. I started with a Parbo beer as I browsed the menu for something traditionally Surinamese, which there was none. The waitress informed me that the restaurant served âinternationalâ fare, which was a mix of Italian (pastas), American (steaks, seafood, etc.) and a Indian.I ordered the Indian beef curry and it was absolutely to die for. Maybe itâs because I have never had beef curry, that I enjoyed it so muchâbut I really did. It was a generous portion, just spicy enough for me to need another beer. It was served with rice. I left the table very content.Extra points for the WiFi!Clean, great service, tasty meal, nice ambience. Definitely recommend.
