We were driving around the island, and stopped in Del Carmen to try and find some lunch. luckily we came across Krokodeilos! This place had really nice local foods (good for groups, or individuals), full plates, friendly staff and clean environment. It's located close to the pier, next to the tourist info. I would certainly recommend to stop by here to try the local cuisine while touring around the great island of Siargao!

Okey, by far best local place on the island! it is cute and has the real Siargao vibe. Don't get me wrong you can get good food all over the island, beside the amazing place this place offers you a home coming feeling. the food is made fresh. I recommend the Shawarma bowl and for dessert the coconut with vanilla ice and fresh mango. man I would book a ticket just for that dessert. OH and once in a while they play live music. are you on Siargao? visit this place!

Hard to miss when there is no sign outside but since it's right next to Buddha you can't go wrong. Had a very chilled-out vibe, magazines and games left behind by previous occupants will keep you occupied while you wait for the food. Food- Had the fish burger and signature fried rice. Homemade fries a must! Both were very tasty, huge portions though. After a morning of surfing, you would have worked up a pretty big appetite so can't complain. Service - slow, but thats what island life is. Plus, it's good to know that everything is made fresh and nothing is ready-made. So worth the wait. Will be going back again while i'm here.

Cool intimate little local eatery with lovely staff and a good vegetarian selection (a rare thing in the Philippines). Go for the pesto, mozzarella and tomato baguette. You will not be dissapointed. Good honey sweetened smoothies too. Maybe a tad "too" sweetened so perhaps ask them to chill on the bee juice a tad. I like it. My partner and I stopped in as we were going by to get a quick feed. What a mistake this was, we rang the bell and ordered our food with a elderly dirty looking englishman who pointed us out to the seating area. We sat and waited....and waited...and waited. After about 30min I went and rang the bell again. The dirty man,Allan, came out again and asked what i wanted. I informed him that we had been waiting 30 min for our food and wanted to know when it would arrive. He took offense to this and started to rave on about cooking times and fresh produce etc to which I replied we had only ordered Fries and Calamares. He then swore and commented if I did not want to wait I could just piss off. So we did. Thanks for nothing you dirty horrible person We will not be back !!!!!!You are just the bitter neighbor who wants to sell his home made chicken and beef pies but was refused because the pies he made was just not acceptable to our standards, made from dirty sweaty hands, itâs just not hygenic mic, the pie crust was so hard that it can break somebodyâs teeth and fillings are tasteless, just too bland, not up to the standard of Bollox bar and restaurant, sorry.

ate here one night with our friends, staff were all nice including the owner who greeted us and gave us a table, the food was okay nothing special, we ended up ordering 3 bottles of red wine, after the 2nd bottle we noticed that the 3rd bottle was different, it was obviously replaced with a cheap local wine other than the wine we ordered, the taste,color, and the substance at the bottom of the wine was disgusting, we told the staff about it and waited for the owner to talk to us, but he did not, instead he told the staff that the 3rd bottle is free, the owner could have at least the decency to apologise to us him being friendly in the beginning. we stayed in Siargao for 2 weeks and we never went back to this restaurant because of the incident. my advice is check everything and make sure they open the wine infront of you, such a shame and we were really disgusted by this act. so i cannot recommend this place.Usually we do not reply to the reviews, as we want to let people express themselves about their experience in Emerald restaurant. But we feel that this review is totaly unfair and not representative of the quality of our restaurant. First of all we would like to put back things into perspective. Three bottles of the same wine were order along the night. The last bottle was clearly defective as it can happen sometimes. As it is mentionned on the comment above the defective bottle was offered, even though it had been fully consummed... But we will certainly never risk our reputation, trying to exchange wine bottles. This is not the way we operate in hospitality business.This accusation is outrageous, and clearly emerging from the odd imagination of this guest. Our mondays are always busy cause we have an acoustic night. The owner of the restaurant is performing all night during this event and could not let down all the other guests. Just to satisfy this person with his personnal apologise. As said above the defective bottle was offered and the manager spent time to apologise on behalf of the owners.

the resto is near the busy main road, but as soon you enter the resto you want feel the road and surrounding nearby ad you will be seated in a calm and nice place. Resto can be just entered without shoes:-)Food was great, very good Arrabiata and also the Lasagne was delicious. We spend some good time in it. Price is ok, to mention that Siargao is overall an expensive place if you wanna eat western, mediterranean style.

One of the best options in the surfing area of Siargao. We went twice, for breakfast and for dinner, and the food was super satisfying and service was also perfect.Highly recommended overall, and would for sure come back if ever I had the chance to be in the island again... almost forgot, possibly the best Egg Benedict I ever tried in my life!!! I donât understand the negative comments judging everything except for the food, this is an island Restaurant guys, if you donât like the feeling of your feet touching wood or sand, just stay in the comforts of NY or Paris....Merci.

Wishyouwerehere is a super chill hole-in-the-wall smoked bbq joint. The smoked meat makes all the difference. The hefty platter (My fave is the Angus beef brisket) is good for two but it depends on your hunger level. My bf could devour everything on his own. Haha. Iâm not a big meat-eater but there are those days when you crave for a nice brisket, ribs that fall off the bone or a mighty meaty burger - that kind of Southwestern comfort food goodness. If you know what Iâm talking about then this is the place you are looking for. Also, Red the owner is a cool dude.

Our tricycle driver recommended the place to us, he said that itâs one of the most popular restaurants around. Place was really nice, the servers very efficient. It was by the beach so youâd hear the waves, feel the breeze while enjoying your good food!!! A lot of choices from the Menu, but they usually have specials that arenât included in the menu but posted on a board.
