People visit Surat Thani because it's the gateway to so much of Thailand's beauty, especially its Gulf Coast islands. From here, you'll be able to visit Ko Phangan (an island best explored via motorcycle), Ko Samui (known for marvelous beaches and waterfalls) and the 42 rainforest islands of Ang Thong National Marine Park.

Went tonight with family and friends. Basic furnishings but very in keeping with the surroundings. We sat by the beach. Ordered a selection of dishes and shared. They do give you the option of how much chilli you want.....unless you are native Thai I suggest asking for it mild to medium.....definitely not hot. Very cheap, very delicious and worth a second visit.

Enjoy fresh seafood with river view. Love fresh oysters and seafood spicy salad. Food price is not expensive comparing to other seafood touristic town. Service can be a bit of a mess and slow, but acceptable.

Went here for lunch and the food was good and so was the service. Reasonable prices and decent portions, pretty much what you expect.

Cook your own, substandard ingredients for dinner..... And pay large prices... I would give this a miss and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

There is a great variety of food on the menu - something here for everyone! We ordered the pad Thai, jacket potato and bruschetta. All three dishes were so amazing especially the jacket potato! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The owner is also very nice and accommodating! The best restaurant in Surat Thani!

My wife and I were looking for some place new to have dinner. I came upon Mouth2Mouth here on TripAdvisor.
My wife is a lifelong resident of Surat Thani and have never heard of the place, despite working very close to the area.
It's decor and environment is geared for a younger crowd.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The service was good and food delicious.
Prices were reasonable, but a bit much for the backpacking crowd.

Not that many options in Surat Thani. This restaurant has an odd menu. Difficult to understand. Had to ask the guy. He could understand and speak English. We had penang curry and green curry. Both were good. And not too much! They also serve good coffee.

Tom Yum Soup with Seafood was the best I have ever had. Everything we ordered was delicious. While the staff does not speak english they are helpful and gracious.
