and extremely well-meaning but not-quite-there service make a visit to Ted’s a perhaps must-do (if you are in the ‘hood) but rather trying of your patience. Probably teething problems which can easily be fixed. The menu is also FAR too extensive for the amount of staff, resulting in almighty queues at any time other than their 7 am opening. Do try them !

I tried lots of Thai restaurant in North Shore. I don't think I am going back... Curry was no soup, really sweet. Rice pudding was not "rice pudding" (My friend got one. she likes it from other Thai food restaurants but she only ate one spoon and she could eat anymore.)
Service was ok.

I had a couple of great meals at this food truck. This is the only food truck that had brussels sprouts and roasted butternet squash as part of a bowl with Kalua Pig. Was excellent. Great flavors and interesting options. A little bit healthier than the standard two scoops of rice plate lunch. But you CAN get white rice if you really want. Interesting options, and some of the most beautiful view across to Sharks Cove while you are dining on one of the 4 picnic tables provided. This is the only food truck in Haleiwa that I can back to more than once.

Tired of eating fish and chicken and wanting red meat, I stopped at this food truck and was not disappointed. The pulled pork and brisket was great and the serving sizes were adequate. My 3 year old grandson ate all of my chicken pineapple sausage.

We ventured away from the Turlte Bay resort and had dinner and drinks here. Staff were very friendly and food was good and drinks even better. Met some of the not so local locals and had a fantastic evening, really cool decor, you wont be disappointed.
Cheers

We were tired and hungry after a long day and had kids asking for pizza so I put pizza into my map on my iPhone and hit search. This was close so I called and ordered two pizza's. When we showed up it was a tiny food truck with a pizza oven inside. This guy makes the fabulous pizza. We actually got his last two pizzas for the night but it was early in the evening. He said the call early and reserve our dough because he sells out. I can see why. The pizzas are made fresh. He rolls out the dough, makes them and cooks them in his truck.

The Elephant Shack looked like it had just transferred from a truck and was getting used to it. Bathrooms were not up and running but public ones were close. I had shrimp and asked for no hot spices and was pleased with the heat and flavor of my choice.
